Philz Coffee

Came here about 11am for a simple small drip cup of coffee. I literally waited 12 mins. It was $6!! And it’s not very hot. Sorry but that is the trifecta. There were 4 employees and they were moderately busy but over ten mins and $6 for a cup of coffee that’s not really hot? Not worth it.

I hope Philz keeps expanding through Sacramento. This place makes a great cup of coffee, all pour over, but the best part is how they add the sweet and creamy taste and texture. Food is alright, but it’s just there to compliment the coffee anyways.

I fell in love with Philz in the Bay and it is my absolute favorite. I was excited to find one close to me. I know there's usually a wait, but at this location, it was ridiculous. EVERY SINGLE PERSON that was in line behind us, plus a few more, got their drink before us. Even my daughter who met us there and ordered 15 minutes after, got her drink before us. And my drink wasn't even correct when I got it. No point in correcting since I didn't want to wait again.

I only ordered a house coffee. The taste was decent. The male employee who greeted me with a smile was friendly. The other staff members also maintained a good impression and didn’t make me feel awkward about my small mistake. There were many customers, and the place looked clean.

It's really delicious. Even though I visited during lunch time on a weekday, there were many customers. The staff were friendly and the store was clean. There were many students studying. The young atmosphere was nice and the weather was so cool that the coffee tasted the best. If you have time, I highly recommend you visit.
