Crema's Take
“This sprawling Cambridge institution near Kendall Square has become a beloved brunch destination with multiple dining rooms that feel intimate yet lively, making it equally suited for solo coffee contemplation or larger group gatherings. Beyond the expertly executed traditional espresso drinks, it's the creative breakfast and brunch menu that draws devoted fans—think adventurous offerings like lobster-topped dishes, plant-based hash creations, and Mexican-inspired options alongside reliable classics like their praised corned beef hash omelette. The inviting, unhurried atmosphere encourages lingering with a cappuccino and pastry, though the popularity means booking ahead is essential to avoid the inevitable waits during peak hours.”

I am very happy they have moved to this location near Kendall. It is a much larger and nicer space. There are several different rooms inside, with tables for any number of people. Great spot to meet friends, a brunch date, or a family outing. Service: they were clearly quite busy during weekend brunch. Brought the wrong coffee order then forgot a couple minor things. But otherwise the food was excellent. Parking: street parking but not too difficult. Also just a few minutes from the T stop.
I was recommended this café and decided to stop by while visiting from Philly. I was seated at the bar, which I didn’t mind. I ordered the corned beef hash omelette(it was a solid 7/10). Not bad, but I think I would try something different next time. Seeing other people’s plates made me realize there are a lot of great-looking options. The portion was very filling. The real standout, though, was the espresso martini—easily the best I’ve ever had and incredibly smooth. The service was great and had multiple people check up on us.
Highlight (food-wise) of our Boston trip. Had the kitchen sink with two plant-based proteins, patty and veggie hash. It was amazing from the potatoes to the eggs over the veggie options to the amazing french toast. We sat at the bar so we had no wait but definitely a popular spot for breakfast. Great vibe and great friendly server. If we were closer, we would have tried to come back again. Just look at the pictures, if it looks amazing it usually is.
Popular brunch and breakfast cafe - worth booking a table! They have so many unique options, many involving lobster and crab. This spot has something for everyone. I love that they have Mexican options and healthier options on the menu. My first time trying eggs Benedict and they were delicious and so fresh. Potatoes perfectly executed too! The lemon ricotta pancakes were amazing. Not too sweet and had a caramelisation to them. Fresh fruit paired with it very well. I can understand the popularity because the service and atmosphere were great too.
We recently went to this lovely brunch spot. Even though I booked a table a week in advance, we still had to wait around 20 minutes when we arrived. The menu is pretty extensive, and it’s definitely a great place for brunch with plenty of food and drink options. I also liked that they take care of dietary restrictions and allergies. We ordered the Jalapeño Mac n’ Cheese, Vegan Burger, and Blueberry Pancakes, along with a Mimosa and the Summer Splash mocktail. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. Overall, it’s a fun and vibrant place to spend a brunch — I’d definitely recommend it!
