Kauai Partea

We got the Kulolo which was taro and coconut at 25% sweet. It was good! Boba was different than I’ve tasted at other places. There was a guy playing ukulele on the stage so it was a great time sipping on this boba tea!

The food was great, unfortunately the lady helping was rude, it felt like she wanted me to order fast and get out. Note: the place was not busy I was actually the only one ordering at the time.

On the plus side there is no annoying automatic tip screen when paying. On the downside the boba was overcooked or old and was just mushy like eating paste in the ube macapuno drink and remix drink that we ordered.

The Oreo bubble waffle was so good I forgot to take a photo of it before we started tearing it up! We also had an order of onion rings and they were so so good. Will definitely be back for rolled ice cream and boba tea. I do wish this place was open later though. They’re primarily a dessert place but close around dinner time, meaning no opportunity for evening desserts. It’s taken me 6 months to get in to try this place because generally when I want dessert it’s after dinner but they are closed. Anyway, if you’re looking for a lunch dessert or snack, check this place out for sure!

I had the opportunity to speak with the owner. She is a delight to visit with. Such a ray of sunshine on a warm wet day. I loved my rolled ice cream. Watching the magic happen in front ofnyou is amazing. Thank you.
