Crema's Take
“Tucked in Travelers Rest, this brewery strikes that rare balance between a serious craft beer destination and a genuinely welcoming hangout space where you can linger for hours with a laptop or friends. The German and Belgian-inspired selection draws repeat visitors and road-trippers alike, while the flexible indoor-outdoor setup and friendly staff create an atmosphere that feels less like a tourist trap and more like a local's favorite that happens to welcome everyone. It's the kind of place where the vibe matters as much as what's in your glass.”

Whenever we come down to Greenville, we try to stop by Swamp Rabbit Brewery in Travelers Rest, but this time we were a little disappointed. The beer was fair, slight mbat, micro brewery after taste, but not overpowering! Staff was busy, mistakenly over charged for one of the beers, but after bringing it to their attention, it was corrected.
Great staff- enjoyed my beers. Cool vibe and hangout space. Removing one star because of the awful food truck they let park in their lot last night. Probably the worst food truck food and worst BBQ I have ever had. Inedible brisket that literally broke my fork trying to pick it up. Complete trash. Sides weren’t bad, just high school cafeteria quality. Please offer different food truck options Asap.
Good brewery! Enjoyable beer and friendly staff. Place has a great mojo. I pass this brewery all the time on my way to Asheville, and finally decided to stop. If you like a brewery filled with regulars that has a dive bar vibe this is the place for you.
The atmosphere was great. Friendly staff. Options to be indoors and outdoors. Parking is a bit tricky. Limited but good selection of German - Belgian inspired beer. Appreciated many of them and not caring for 2. Nice swag to buy. Did have some light appetizers. There are a few selections for the non beer drinkers of seltzers and wines. Dog-friendly -- extra bonus points!
Stopped in SRB while traveling through TR. After hearing so much about the area, we couldn't wait to try the local brewery. The ambiance had a comfortable vibe and we relaxed inside. We tried flights and sampled every beer on tap. The beers were good and had something for everyone's taste. Recommended for a stop if in the area.
