Louisa’s Cache
111 Railroad St, Bryan, TX
Crema's Take
“Nestled inside the elegant P.A. Smith Hotel lobby in Bryan, this spot delivers genuinely excellent espresso drinks in a surprisingly luxurious setting that feels both refined and welcoming. The consistently strong coffee and gracious staff make it an ideal place to linger over work or catch up with friends, though you'll want to time your visit when the more experienced baristas are on duty to ensure your drink hits the mark. The hotel's grand architecture transforms what could be an ordinary coffee stop into something special—a hidden gem that rewards those who venture past the storefront.”

Stopped here to finish annual planning with my best friend on our way back to Georgetown & Houston respectively. The coffee was top-notch and the hotel lobby was beautiful and just the right amount of ornate. Would definitely want to come back to stay. Met the owner who was incredibly friendly and spoke with us about the history.
would be 5 stars except you never know how your coffee will turn out if the male employee is working, seems like he needs training. the girl and woman that are usually there make the coffee well and consistent.
Food was stale and coffee marginal. Staff were friendly enough but not sure I'd go back
We were looking for coffee on our way home from College Station and found this lovely place. The coffee is delicious, the staff was friendly, and you must check out the lobby of the attached hotel. So beautiful! A must stop between Houston and College Station.
Atmosphere: Looking from the outside, Louisa's Cache shares its establishment with the grand P.A.Smith Hotel, and that same extravagance carries into the building. The coffee bar is immediately to the right of the entrance of the hotel. It is very quaint and with an assortment of bakery items on display. Service: The server was really helpful in providing recommendations, as well as customer favorites. I saw her even prep some food items and drinks for the previous customer, in which she took the time to take it to the customer. The same service was catered to us as well when it was time to receive our drinks. Quality: Talking about drinks, we ordered lattes: The Bonnie (Caramel & White Mocha) with an extra shot of espresso and a '76 Special (Birthday Cake Flavor wjth Sprinkles). The 76 Special was sweet enough that I didn't have to add any sugar to the drink and could definitely get the notes of birthday cake. Fili's Fave: Although there were many specialty lattes, i felt from the list that the '76 Special was unique would highly recommend.
