Drift Cafe

We were visiting from Montana where I own my own coffee shop. I have to say the food not only looked beautiful, but tasted even more amazing. I got the swell bowl and a latte. Coffee was spot on. Highly recommend this place.

My niece who lives in SD recommended this place to me for matcha and her recommendation did not disappoint. Super cute spot, very clean, looks like they had a good food menu as well. I tried their special which was a white chocolate strawberry which you could get as a latte or matcha, I got the matcha and asked for a little less sweet because white chocolate always seems too sweet for me but this drink was perfection! The cold foam at the top mixed with the matcha was so good! I'd definitely come back here again if I was in the area. My only complaint was that parking sucked, but it was a three day weekend on a Saturday and also Valentines so PB was nuts.

This is the cutest, beachy boho café ever!! With AMAZING food and coffee! The breakfast Sammie was amazing and Mexican coffee 🤌 my husband likes a simple breakfast and was happy with their breakfast plate. Super kind and efficient service too! This is a must stop if you're in the San diego area!

Today I just got a latte". My usual eats here are the breakfast bowl 🤤, bagels (toasted w/ butter & cream cheese), and avocado toast. Consistency is important and after 2 years of being a customer (Oct 2023) I can honestly say there is consistency in the quality of the steaming "milk" (micro bubbles not bath bubbles) which NO OTHER CAFE IN A 5 MILE RADIUS DOES RIGHT much less consistently, quality in the food,and quality of service. Vibe/atmosphere always positive and beachy! Thank you Drift ❤️🌞🐬

I love this place. It captures a breezy beach vibe with great coffee and a delicious breakfast menu that feels both simple and thoughtfully made. The décor is cute and quirky in the best way, creating a relaxed atmosphere that fits the neighborhood perfectly. It has an easy, welcoming energy that makes you want to linger. I’ll definitely stop by again the next time I’m in San Diego.
