Parfait Paris

Crema's Take
“Parfait Paris in La Jolla is a charming spot where pastry dreams and coffee ambitions don't always perfectly align, but the atmosphere and their rotating seasonal treats—like their celebrated Day of the Dead pastries—make it worth the visit. While some customers find the coffee itself a bit inconsistent, the refreshing specialty drinks like their Energy Chiller and the beautiful presentation of macarons and desserts create a lovely, family-friendly gathering space that shines brightest as a pastry destination paired with a leisurely afternoon.”

We came for coffee and dessert. We ordered coffee, sea salt Carmel latte, crème brûlée and chocolate cake. I’m not too impressed with the latte, very bland and no espresso taste. The chocolate cake was good but not $13 good. Crème brûlée was average. Overall, it’s not worth the price.
I don't normally go out of my way to leave a review but my experience here was just awful. I was excited to bring my mom and sister in to try their desserts after we just ate at marugame. The girl working there on Wednesday 1/28 at 2:56pm was not helpful or nice and had a horrible attitude from the start. I came with my family. When we walked in there was a single person there and he worked at Macy's. As they were just chatting we did not get greeted as we walked in and she didn't say a single word for the 10 minutes we were just standing there. I proceeded to ask if we could order something and she responded with a horrible attitude " I'm helping someone right now" in a rude way. She needs to work on her customer service and the management needs to retrain this girl. We even waited 5 more minutes and she still did not help us. So we walked out and we went over to Venchi next to Nordstrom for dessert instead. They were much nicer to us and helped us through every step. Bad attitude and customer service is what kill a business! Hopefully they hire better employees in the future.
Nice atmosphere and beautiful presentation, but the experience was a bit underwhelming during my visit. Unfortunately, they were out of coffee and many of their pastries, which really limited the options and took away from what should be a classic French bakery experience. What was available tasted good and looked high quality, so the potential is definitely there. However, running out of core items made the visit less enjoyable than expected. It’s a nice spot and worth trying again.
Absolutely delicious! Went in with my friends and we were greeted and recommended what coffees were great. We went in for the day of the dead pastries, YUM! Thank you to the worker there she was so sweet and amazing customer service. WILL BE COMING BACK especially if she’s there :) the macrons she recommended were really good!
It was a hot day after shopping and we were looking for something refreshing. We stopped by parfait Paris to try some of their delicious drinks and macarons. Definitely recommend The energy chiller Berry lemonade And any of the macarons!
