Tonantzin Casa de Café
910 Santa Fe Dr, Denver, CO
Crema's Take
“Tonantzin Casa de Café is a genuine celebration of Latino culture tucked into Denver's vibrant Santa Fe corridor, where the café itself doubles as an art gallery and every drink tells a story—think dulce de leche lattes, café de olla preparations, and whimsical creations like the duvalín with strawberry cold foam that feel both deeply rooted and playfully creative. The space strikes that rare balance of being cozy enough for lingering work sessions or deep conversations with friends, while the kitchen delivers authentic Mexican pastries and weekend tamales alongside espresso drinks that locals genuinely love, making it feel like a real alternative to the usual chains rather than just another coffee spot.”

If you're looking for an alternative to starbucks or other big chains and want to support Latino businesses or love Latino culture this is the place to go! It's so cute and cozy, and the staff is so friendly. They sell breakfast and lunch, different types of coffees and Agua Frescas, Talavera cups/mugs, and other types of little trinkets. Hands down my favorite little café!
I love this general area on Santa Fe, and this is my favorite first stop when I take out of town friends. Crawling up and down the various antique stores and art exhibitions with a padded stomach and fun drink is never a bad time. The line can get long, especially during first Fridays. but it's always worth the wait.
Very cute and pretty, I love how the dining area of the cafe is an art gallery it's absolutely wonderful! I got the dulce de leche drink and it is so good! And the chocolate crossiant which is also delicious❤️
Stunning place! Extremely authentic Mexican food and drinks with some fun twists. For example, I got the cafe de olla latte, which was extremely delicious. Note that tamales only available on weekends, so I got a veggie burrito that was smaller and good.
this place is so cute!! has great seating and our drinks were amazing. we got the duvalín with strawberry cold foam and the gansito 🤤
