Crema's Take

Tucked into Denver's Uptown neighborhood, this cozy vintage-inspired cafe strikes a rare balance between serious coffee craftsmanship and genuine hospitality, earning devoted fans for both creative signature drinks like their Banana Foster latte and exceptionally made sandwiches with fresh-baked bread. The multi-level space—complete with a sprawling outdoor balcony, curated gift browsing, and intentionally no wifi—cultivates a refreshing social atmosphere where people actually connect rather than hide behind screens, making it equally perfect for lingering over breakfast with friends or stealing a quiet moment alone.

My curry chicken salad sandwich was amazing! The bread was fresh, nice crust and soft in the inside. The curry chicken salad had just the right amount of curry flavor, but it did not overpower the other flavors. The currents were mixed in perfectly to add a hint of sweet that paired well with the savory. It was nice not having a mayo flavor and the greens were so fresh! I really like the option of having sliced cucumbers instead of chips. I’m giving the sandwich 5 stars but the coffee is not a 5 star for me. It tastes acidic to the tongue and lacks smoothness.

Great vibes here. Love the unique gifts you can browse. The food is excellent! I like that there is no wifi, so it’s just for socializing. Lots of seating options outside, on the main level, and upstairs too.

It was my first time going to Weathervane recently and wow, what a vibe! Such a cozy and vintage-ish coffee shop in the Uptown neighborhood of Denver. They have a wide range of breakfast, lunch, and coffee items to choose from, and tons of unique gifts to take a browse at while waiting for your order. I got the breakfast sandwich with smoked ham (they immediately sold me on the fact that it was on focaccia bread) and it was sooooo delicious. They also had a seasonal red velvet latte that I had to order, as I'm a sucker for anything red velvet. Phenomenal coffee and breakfast was had that day. I love all the signage inside and out, staff was very friendly as well. It is quite small and I noticed there was an upstairs with more seating but I didn't go up there as we sat out on the patio. I can see the place being absolutely packed on weekends so it may be only a weekday spot for me, but I will definitely be back to try more of their menu items!

This place is a diamond in the rough! We were in town for our anniversary and needed coffee before taking on the day! One of the locals suggested the Banana fosters latte and it did not disappoint, it was liquid gold in a cup. I got it iced and still had all the flavor of an actual bananas foster! We also tried the breakfast burrito, but the crown jewel was the breakfast sandwich! The bread was just right and the herby mayo with the egg! I want to go get another one just thinking about it, but its almost dinner! We also got the orange cranberry scone and lavender matcha tea cake and oh my lord they did not disappoint! I whole heartedly endorse this place and when in Denver you must stop by!

Adorable coffee shop with tasty sandwiches and good coffee. They have lots of seating on their outdoor balcony and patio as well as inside. I tried their Cubano sandwich and a cold brew and wasn’t disappointed. The service is great and they have some fun little Knick knacks to purchase. Check them out!
