Crema's Take

This beloved Tuscaloosa bakery excels at what it does best: freshly baked pastries and standout cakes (the strawberry cake is a consistent crowd-pleaser) paired with thoughtfully made sandwiches and sides in a genuinely beautiful, welcoming space. It's the kind of place where you can linger over coffee and a flaky pastry, catch up with friends, or grab something special for a celebration, all while feeling the unmistakable care that goes into everything they make.

I came here Wednesday to get a strawberry cake and it was damn good. I dont even mess with sweets like that. I was throughly impressed. Inside of store was DOPE. I love the esthetics & presentation of stuff. This store was impressive and organized. The lighting was great and the prices was good. You get what you pay for and it's well worth it. My first time in this store and this Galleria place. I get cool vibes and date night vibes from this area. I liked the scenery & would def come check them out again. I don't get out much being an OTR Trucker. So glad I came through. 5 stars all the way. Stephen T Lewis LEVEL 8 Google reviewer 3.2M STRONG BAMA TRUCKER - ROLL TIDE

I ordered two cakes here for my mom’s birthday and as always, the strawberry cake was amazing. But the red velvet cake was horrible!! DO NOT get the red velvet cake from here. It’s gross. It was dry, the coloring was like deep brown, not even close to red, and it tasted very old. It’s not even red velvet. It’s not chocolate either. Honestly, I’m not sure what it is. It really made my mom sad because she loves red velvet cake so much. But thankfully, the strawberry cake saved the day. I wish I would have just bought two strawberry cakes. Lesson learned. Please do not purchase any red velvet cake here if you are looking to have a great birthday experience.

Visiting Tuscaloosa for the day and was looking for someplace different. I was not disappointed. I had the Grown-up Grilled Cheese sandwich with chips and macaroni and cheese. (Yes it was a cheese heavy meal). The sandwich was great. Definitely a 3 napkin sandwich with all that cheese. Also had the quiche of the day (veggie) with a side salad. It was also very good. Bought some pastries to try later.

Lovely bakery and cafe! There is an area inside with pre-packaged baked goods like cookies, bread, loaf cakes, etc. But also a huge selection of various pastries, cakes, cookies, and more at the front in a display case. We came on a Saturday and they had a few samples of their baked goods to try. They have breakfast foods, such as biscuits, pancakes, French toast, omelettes. You order at the front and sit down, and they’ll bring it to you. I ordered the southwest omelette which has bell peppers, onions, cheddar cheese, diced tomatoes, and a meat (I got Turkey) and comes with toast & one side (I got fruit). I was a bit disappointed in the omelette, as I was expecting the cheese to be nice and melted into it, but I just got cold cheese on top. My boyfriend enjoyed his sausage egg cheese croissant. It was a pretty big sandwich but did not come with a side. The only downside is that nothing seems seasoned. I had to add salt/pepper to my omelette , and my friend who ordered the all American breakfast agreed that everything was desperately in need of some seasoning. And for the price, I would expect more.
