★★★★★5.0(35 Google reviews)

Crema's Take

Sabor Latino brings authentic Central and South American flavors to Springfield with standout dishes like perfectly crispy pupusas, perfectly charred pastor and carne asada, and homemade salsas that keep customers coming back. The family-friendly atmosphere and genuinely warm service make it an ideal spot to linger over traditional drinks like their beloved tamarindo refresher, and the prices are refreshingly honest for the quality you're getting. This is the kind of neighborhood gem where every regular has a favorite order and newcomers quickly understand why it's earned its perfect rating.

I was craving authentic Mexican food and came across this place through a google search and gave it a try because it had 5 stars - and let me tell you - it did not disappoint! It was absolutely delicious, authentic, fresh and was better than I anticipated. The man cooking and serving was so kind too. Def give this a try! I’ll be back for sure.

Fantastic food, and friendly service. We got a Pastor and Carne Asada Tortas, as well as Asada tacos and some cheese Pupusas. All of the food was excellent, well-spiced, and the Pupusas are wonderfully enormous (far larger than the picture, more like 6" diameter). Will definitely be coming here again. Also, for anyone curious what's in each of the menu items as there's no description on the pictures, I asked the owner and this was what she told me: Quesabirrias: mozzarella cheese, beef, onion, cilantro Sopa: meat, lettuce, onion, tomato, sour cream, cojia cheese, avocado, and bread, with cream and chorizo for the dip Torta: bread, meat, lettuce, onion, tomato, mozzarella cheese, jalapeno Pambago: bread, potato, chorizo, lettuce, sour cream, cojia cheese Burrito: mozzarella cheese, sour cream, onion, cilantro, rice, beans, meat
