Simply the best bagel shop in town! I’ve been coming here since I was a kid and the almond cream cheese 🥯 is incredible! Just like Dewars 🍨 and Smith’s cookies 🍪 this is a Bakersfield staple. Highly recommend even after all of these years!

4/5 for the boss’s lunch. It was nothing special but it was something that you can have over and over again and would not disappoint. Cold brew was good too. Pretty packed in the morning.

Updated new review 9-2-25: Came here and it's was crowded, haven't been in like 7 years and peices definitely increased but thats everywhere sadly. They have seasonal pumpkin drinks and bagels. We got the peanut butter, pumpkin bagels and and breakfast egg sandwich with a pumpkin coffee which was so so, had a weird taste a bit. The coffee bar area could have more options also. Outside tables were a bit dirty and inside was almost hotter than outside and it being around 11am in bakersfield it was already hot. Could turn the AC down a bit. 7 year old review: Cool place, get the peanut or banana muffins with the strawberry cream cheese! So many good combinations, never leave without trying some of their amazing and in store made cream cheeses

𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝟓 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐬. As a big fan of both bagels and smoothies, this place is definitely servicing both of my favorites. The wait is long during peak, but the wait is always worth it in my opinion. There are an abundance of options in terms of actual bagel flavors, like lemon poppy seed my personal favorite. There are also an abundance of options with spreads. Worth a visit. They do need to figure out how to streamline the serving process because an order of two bagel sandwiches and a smoothie led to a wait of 20+ minutes during peak.

First time here today, and place was packed. Service was pretty quick though, got a drink and hot sandwich and couple bagels and cream cheese, order was made quickly, staff was friendly. The place was clean and had good amount of seating. Was a little bit expensive, but well worth it. Definitely be back again soon.
