No Preference

This place really is just the best. It is a tie for me between here and Push Pull for the best coffee in Portland; and the baristas here are absolutely top class. Not only is the coffee and snacks experience very high caliber, it just feels good in the cafe!! Staff is so warm and welcoming and people are always hanging out having fun!! The bottom level is big and open and has comfy booths and benches with outlets everywhere for working or conversation. No Preference is my preference for coffee in Portland🤌🏼

The owner has a great smile and outstanding customer service that keeps me coming back. I personally recommend the pour overs. They have a diverse selection each with distinct, exquisite flavors.

Bring back the pour over! No Preference is a great unassuming coffee shop for dank espresso and pour over options. The barista provided me with 3 options and was thorough. No Preference currently has 5 different coffee roasters to choose from. It’s nice to buy local but it’s great to try coffee from other shops.

Excellent environment. The staff, the vibes, the coffee… All TOP NOTCH. Went in with my lady and we were pleasantly surprised. Seemed a bit small from the outside, but once inside, the place really opens up. Straight shot to the register/brew area for staff and baristas but then the place opens up with an imbedded cozy work space room/seating area. The room is equipped with a DVD 13” TV with TONS of nostalgic DVD’s to play. There were lots of people in there working, hanging, hobby-ing, and we just adored the time we spent there. 5 Stars across the board, we will definitely be going back.

Super cozy coffee shop. I got an Ube Blossom Latte ($7.50/medium) and a Coconut Cream Latte ($7.50/medium). The Ube Blossom latte was delicious but the coconut cream didn't taste like coconut at all even when you get to the bottom of your cup. Basically, you pay $7.50 for a regular latte.
