Crema's Take
“This beloved Salt Lake City spot nails the balance between approachable classics and creative signature drinks, with their cinnamon dolce and sugar cookie becoming the stuff of loyal customer obsession. The team keeps the line moving fast and takes genuine care with every drink, earning them a devoted following of regulars who appreciate both the rewards program and prices that don't break the bank. Fair warning: recent changes have left some longtime fans wishing for the old menu flexibility and quality consistency, so it might be worth trying it yourself to see if it still hits for you.”

Cinnamon dolce and the sugar cookie are so good. Customer service is great too! Don’t sleep on the sugar cookie.
I come here almost everyday and I’m soooo sad they got rid of their tall iced coffees. It sounds dramatic but I really don’t want 16oz of a latte :( The prices have also been going uppppp.
My favorite coffee place! They never take very long and my drink always comes out great. They have great prices and rewards too!
I enjoy the coffee, but this is by far the most aggressive place for asking to leave a tip. We paid cash, and had over $2 change left, but instead of just giving the cash back, like every other establishment I’ve ever been to, the staff asked if we wanted our change back. My husband responded, “yes that would be great” and she said “great thanks” and walked away before we could correct her. It would have been so uncomfortable to then call out for her and tell her she misheard us- we did want our change back. My husband says he’ll never return and I’m feeling the same. The tipping mentality here is too aggressive and it’s turned us off.
Last year, I would have given them a 5 star. But since October Java Jo’s has risen prices and lowered quality. They no longer give coffee sleeves so I can’t hold my cup because it burns my hand and I feel like the actual quality has gone down. This is a shame because I try to get local and this place used to be one of my favorites but now I sometimes go to Starbucks because I know I’m not going to get cheated.
