Station 8 Coffee
717 Texas Ave, Houston, TX
Crema's Take
“This espresso-focused gem inside The Market building is a quiet refuge where skilled baristas (particularly the standout Lilly) craft impressively consistent cappuccinos and cortados with beautiful latte art that clearly delights both regulars and passing travelers. The spacious, inviting atmosphere pairs perfectly with their thoughtful pastries and light food options, making it equally suited for a focused coffee moment or a leisurely conversation with genuinely helpful staff. It's the kind of place that rewards the effort to find it—a hidden pocket of specialty coffee excellence in Houston that punches well above its visibility.”

Had a Cortado and a pepperoni panini. Both tasted amazing! The staff is extra helpful and friendly. And the environment is chill and inviting. Would come back again. And highly recommend this place for types of coffee lovers and drinkers.
We were in Houston for only 1 (transit) day, and chose Station 8 for our morning coffee. What a good decision! One of the best cappuccino’s I’ve ever had, latte art is amazing, and Lilly is simply the sweetest barista! We had a lovely chat, very friendly and genuine. Looking forward to our next transit in Houston!
Thank you Lilly for the amazing experience in your coffeeshop. I would recommend everyone to come in for a delicious cappuccino and a lovely chat with the best barista. Her latte art is very impressive!!
It’s a hidden gems of our coffee finds. It’s very spacious, with plenty of seating, and very quiet as we were the only customers at the moment. It deserves more attention and customers since their matcha were rich and the price is very reasonable / cheap for the quality the shop offers ($5/ matcha latte, like $1 for oat milk). Matcha 🍵 were rich, creamy, nutty and delicious ✅The staffs were top notch; they were extremely friendly, informative and kindhearted.
Station 8 was a bit hard to find as I’m visiting from out of town. I assumed it would be a store front, but it’s located inside a building called “The Market”. I’m so glad I didn’t give up my search though! There’s tons of seating options here. It would be a great place to catch up a little work while enjoying a fabulous coffee. My latte was delicious! The barista was genuinely so nice and helpful. Everything was super clean and organized. I will definitely go again next time I’m in downtown Houston!
