I loved this little place set in the quaint little village of Ballston Spa. I always get eggs and bacon, but decided to try the waffle instead. The bacon was nicely done and the waffle was delicious - just enough to be full, but not overly so. Thought the decor was cool, there's a little shop area in front to browse through while you wait to order at the counter. The waitstaff brings your meal when it's ready. Everyone friendly and smiling - something I like to see in the morning. Coffee was nice and strong, enjoyed my cup of joe while waiting.
This place is rather small on the inside but has a reasonable amount of seating all things considered. Delicious breakfast with homemade sourdough toast and other delectable goodies. Devoured the bananas foster waffle which was tasty, and a piece of banana bread I bought on my way out the door. Great service and welcoming staff. Worth a stop in!
This place was pretty solid overall. Price to quality was appropriate, and the place is super cute overall. The staff was friendly and we were stoked to have a table before closing. THAT ALL SAID, the Vegan waffle was inedible. Decided to try the vegan waffle sticks to see what they were about and received what appeared to be waffle shaped raw dough. Taking a bite felt like chewing raw dough, and the taste was like sour milk that continued to sour while chewing. I had to politely remove the mass from my mouth with a napkin. Get anything else if you go. To make matters confusing. When asked if the waffle was cooked properly, the waitstaff enthusiacally stated it was infact fully claimed and that is it awful. She took the full plate of the waffles away before I could take a photo, but took the attached picture of the lovely flower to attach to this review instead. For the owners, remove that mistake of a dish before anyone else has the misfortune of ordering it. The drinks, London Fog and Chai Latter were both excellent, btw!
Such a charming coffee shop and breakfast place. Our coffees and food were delicious, the customer service was great. Also they have a dedicated gluten free menue with many options. My boyfriend has a severe egg and peanut allergy and he was able to enjoy some sourdough bread even though he ate before expecting to not be able to have anything there, so that was a lovely surprise.
Stopped in on a random Saturday that they were open on. We were greeted by a friendly staff member who explained the ordering process. We ordered our food and sat outside. Our food arrived quickly even though the restaurant was full. The Strawberry Rhubarb Waffle special was amazing! The Grilled Chicken sandwich was also special. Looking forward to returning again on another Saturday when they're open!
