Blvd Coffee

638 Blossom Hill Rd, San Jose, CA

Crema's Take

This San Jose spot excels with a spacious, comfortable atmosphere that's perfect for settling in with your laptop or meeting friends, and their espresso drinks—particularly the cappuccino and Cubano—showcase real care when the baristas are dialed in. While the food side still seems to be finding its footing, the specialty drinks like their Mexican Mocha and selection of pastries (including gluten-free options) suggest they're genuinely trying to offer more than just the basics. It's the kind of neighborhood cafe that rewards repeat visits once you find your favorite drink order.

Hummmm, food definitely not meets my expectations. Avocado toast for $10,75. The person who takes our order don’t know drip or pullovers coffee.

Went to the Cafe during their grand opening, sampled their selection of mini muffins they had on opening day. I enjoyed the Lemon Blueberry Muffin and also tried the Mexican Mocha. The Cafe is spacious and well lit during the day. Great spot to get some work done and hang out. Notice they had 3 big tvs in the cafe, hopefully they have some Football games on during football season. Will be back to try more pastries!!

I came here a few times already. The first time I came, we got the Cubano and the coffee was great. I came back again got the same drink however, this time I was greeted with a cold coffee, which was really strange. I felt my milk was in steamed and was probably just poured straight into the espresso. While I was waiting for my coffee, the barista kept telling me my coffee was ready and kept trying to push me to grab an iced coffee which I had to tell him no I got a Cubano, which is a hot coffee.. I was also disappointed in their bakery selection. I got the croissant which to me looks like it was fully baked however, when I opened my box of croissants, I was presented with what looked like under baked croissants. They gave me croissants from somewhere that wasn’t in the display box because if I had seen the croissants looking like this, I would not have purchased it. I will definitely give that place a couple more tries since it’s convenient and next to my home.

This place is one of those places that I have gone to over in Los Gatos and Almaden and always wished they had one closer to me. This one is across the street from my neighborhood so my wish has been granted! Thank you so much for bringing great coffee and service to my neighborhood! Today I had the Cinnamon Twist and requested it "less sweet" with breve (half/half) for the milk option. Served perfectly! UPDATE: Good enough to bring me back the VERY NEXT DAY for another Cinnamon Twist coffee and this time I ordered breakfast. Egg, Ham and Cheese served on a croissant. Very good. This place is only a week old and yet, sitting here on a Sunday morning, it feels like a buzzy neighborhood coffee shop. Enough space that you don't feel crowded, but lots of people hanging out in conversations with friends. Families with kids, retirees. Great spot to meet up with friends on a weekend or weekday morning. They open at 6:30am so you can count on me to stop by to pick up some coffee on the way to work!

A clean comfortable setting with lots of space. The expresso drinks are great (I had a cappuccino) and a selection of bakery goods including gluten free.
