Crema's Take
“Stranded is a warm, unhurried breakfast and brunch destination where locals and travelers alike linger over exceptional comfort food like corned beef hash, Danish pancakes with lemon curd, and inventive dishes such as Finnish oven porridge. The genuine hospitality from staff and carefully crafted menu—from pastries to full breakfast spreads—makes this Astoria gem feel like the kind of place you'd return to again and again, parking challenges and all. It's the rare coffee shop that takes both its espresso and its food seriously, creating a gathering spot where families and friends genuinely want to spend their mornings.”

I haven't had corn beef hash this good in years. The coffee was amazing. The pan cake balls are a must try and very friendly staff . Try the ham sandwich delicious. I've found my favorite breakfast in astoria.
This place is awesome. Must try. The food is worth the wait. It's not a long wait. From the service up front and at your table. Well done. Can't wait to go back.
We were looking for breakfast on a Sunday morning and gave this place a try. Have driven by it a number of times and found location easily. Parking though is a challenge but luckily it was Sunday. You order at the counter. It was very welcoming and great use of small space. The pricing was fair and reasonable. Food was tasty (although I would have requested plain potato cakes). Give it a shot!
Favorite new restaurant in Astoria! I got the half order of Finnish Oven Porridge with eggs added on and my mom got the Savory Two Egg with bacon. We split 4 of the Danish Pancakes with lemon curd and seasonal compote (blueberry). Also got 2 Rose Lemonades (on special menu). They have picnic tables outside. Perfect spot if you have a dog. I love their porridge! I could eat it every day!!! I can't believe how filling it was with just the half order. It was creamy and delicious.
Tried this little place for dinner on a roadtrip to the US and was pleasantly surprised! Ordered sausage, meatballs, lemon biscuits with radish/pear slices, & fish salad for me and my dad and all dishes were very tasty! I heard they just recently opened the dinner part of the restaurant and can testify it is great! Presentation of the food was top tier, the owner was really passionate and kind and made all the cocktails behind the counter. Who I assume to be his wife was also really nice. The decoration of the store was artsy and I enjoyed taking photos of the store!
