Crema's Take

Blue Scorcher Bakery & Cafe brings a wonderfully retro-hippie warmth to Cannon Beach with genuinely fresh pastries and a relaxed community vibe that makes you want to linger over coffee and conversation. As a co-op, they've thoughtfully built a space that feels like a gathering spot—complete with free papers and community notices—where you'll find cheerful staff, accommodating options like vegan mozzarella, and breakfast that won't weigh you down, whether you're stopping by mid-week or on a beach road trip.

What to expect

Classic coffee drinks done right. A slow-sit, quick-grab spot, good for meetings. Full breakfast, pastries, and light food on the menu. Family friendly.

A great place for baked goods, like cookies, muffins, bagels and breads. Cool light fixtures made by a local artist and a fun atmosphere to meet friends and hang out with them.

So. Good. I had the vegan Reuben sandwich in 2018 and I STILL think about it to this very day. Have never had another vegan Reuben that even comes close to that heavenly concoction! Thank you for the best sandwich ever🖤 wish I didn’t live so far

Enjoyed my first stop in - breakfast of eggs and toast and a chai. Found street parking easily - mid-week in September. Kind staff and patrons. Happy it is a co-op. Good selection of fresh baked goods. Definitely would stop in again.
