$20 for an "ok" coffee and a nasty breakfast burrito. I took one bite of a rubberized sweaty tortilla stuffed with lukewarm eggs and mushy bland sausage before I threw it out. I also tried a bourbon latte. it was interesting. However, it's also a bit outrageous that a 16 oz latte has to be $10. The staff were friendly. The girl that handed me my order was adorable. I'm just really disappointed in the food and the rates. moreover, who the heck are these people rating this place so highly? senseless praise doesn't help anyone on either side of the counter.

Journey Canyon Coffee was a great surprise during our stop in Amarillo—exactly the kind of local gem you hope to find on a road trip. The service was fast, friendly, and genuinely welcoming, even with several customers ahead of us. It’s the kind of place that immediately feels like a community staple, and the cozy, casual vibe made it a perfect mid-morning stop. We ordered a cold brew and a chocolate milk, and both were spot-on. The cold brew was smooth and not overly bitter, which can be hard to find, and had a good balance of boldness and clarity. The chocolate milk (a pick for one of our kids) was creamy and rich—clearly made with quality ingredients, not just a powdered mix or syrup. It’s always nice when a coffee shop takes just as much care with non-coffee drinks as they do with their espresso menu. The space was clean and bright, with plenty of seating and a warm atmosphere. There was easy parking in front, and the entrance is accessible for strollers or wheelchairs. We didn’t stay long, but it’s the kind of place we’d absolutely return to for another cup and some downtime. Highly recommend if you’re passing through Amarillo and looking for a quick, quality coffee stop that’s not a chain. It also has a drive through!

Conveniently located across from WT A&M First United Bank Center, this locally owned and operated coffee shop serves up great Java, pasties, breakfast and munch items. Prices are reasonable. Service is with a smile and gratitude. My wife enjoyed a seasonal Peppermint Mocha w/ Coco n whipped cream and I a seasonal hot apple cider with a carmel drizzle. She had a meat kolache (pig in the blanket) and we both had chopped pecan coffee cake. Well worth the stop.
