Crema's Take

Girasol Cafe & Bakery is a low-key Amarillo gem that takes breakfast seriously, earning raves for standouts like soufflé pancakes, jalapeño bacon, and French toast that locals swear are the best they've had. Beyond the exceptional made-from-scratch food, they're genuinely thoughtful about allergens and baking their own pastries daily, creating a warm, family-friendly spot where the service feels personal and the flavors taste like someone actually cares. It's the kind of place you stumble upon and then keep coming back to whenever you're in town.

10 STARS Off the charts honestly the most flavorful fresh food, hands down unbeatable. Service was above and beyond. French toast was best we have had, Jalepano bacon, housemade breakfast sausage was so good we had to order frozen sausage to go. Omlet wonderful with fried potatoes. Atmosphere was nice and easy to hear each other talk, with the normal wonderful cafe noises. Price does not matter, when the food is at this quality. Best experience, we are upset we did not go years earlier. Wheel chair accessibility. Plenty of elbow room and low tables if needed also an outdoor patio. Pinion coffee was a pleasant surprise. We did not have to wait but it does get busy at high times.

discovered this place by luck looked it up. the next time I was in the area I stopped in for breakfast. its a nice place not only a restaurant but a bakery as well. waited in line and ordered my breakfast i had the sausage egg and cheese croissant. it was made with housemade sausage and the croissant was baked fresh it was absolutely delicious almost ordered a second. the only draw back was their popularity it was packed. the wait was a bit long but worth it. looking for great breakfast this is the spot.

The Breakfast Burrito, Bacon Omelet, and Eggs Your Way meals are all Outstanding and the pastry selection is a taste of Heaven. Highly Recommend to anyone traveling through Amarillo!!
