Crema's Take
“Alan's Cafe is a welcoming neighborhood gem where the owners genuinely care about getting every detail right, from their standout omelets (the Philly is a customer favorite) to house-made touches like dulce de leche pancakes that keep families coming back. The quaint, classic Alabama atmosphere pairs perfectly with fresh, made-to-order breakfast and lunch that locals praise for quality ingredients and crispy sides like their beloved tater tots. It's the kind of place where attentive staff and authentic hospitality make it ideal for lingering over a meal, whether you're meeting friends or introducing your kids to real comfort food.”

Great local spot for lunch. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The food was freshly made and very tasty. The steak omelette was very good and I'd recommend it. The tater tots were also very well done and tasty. We stopped in before our valentine's day plans and we really enjoyed our meal. They even gave us some chocolate covered strawberries which was very nice of them. Overall we'd recommend trying and support local restaurants.
I highly recommend Alans! Amazing owners and amazing food! Emm Dulce de Leache Pancakes , super yummy omelette with fresh veggies, crispy tater tots, just the way I like them. I LOVE their coleslaw too. Everything was so delicious. I can’t wait to try what they have for lunch! Alan and his wife made me remember why I love to support small business. He was so friendly and determined that we were happy with everything. Thank you, Alan for a great experience. We will be back!
Oh my word! Philly omelette is 12 out of 10. Wife had the sausage burrito and said it was great. Pancakes with the add on dolce de Leche was Amazing. Kids haven't cleaned a plate like that in a long time. Only not 10 out of 10 was the Biscuits and gravy. We had a late brunch so they were dry. (And I'm picky about my biscuits) Love that they have Pepsi products too.
I give this a 4.5. Very good food. This place cares about the customers. The food is very fresh and cooked to order. Menu is improving due to being a new business and I'm looking forward to it.
Definitely will come again! My wife said we should try this new place so we came for lunch. It was easy to miss from the road and has a quaint, classic Alabama atmosphere. The food was excellent, though! I got the fish tacos, and I highly recommend them! They come with fantastic flour tortillas and a slightly creamy red cabbage slaw. Reasonably priced at $12.95, they come with menu says it comes with rice, but it actually comes with rice AND a side of delicious veggies. I received perfectly cooked batons of zucchini, summer squash, and carrots with a couple small broccoli florets. Gently seasoned and cooked in a little butter. It was excellent! My only wish is that my tacos came with a single wedge of fresh lemon or lime for me to squeeze on them, but overall I was very impressed. We will definitely come again!
