Crema's Take

This downtown Neenah bakery mills their own flour in-house, which you can genuinely taste in every crusty loaf and buttery pastry they turn out daily. The space itself is a character-filled gem with soaring windows, exposed brick, and warm lighting that makes it feel less like a typical coffee stop and more like a beloved neighborhood gathering spot where dog owners linger on the patio and families settle in for unhurried mornings.

Pretty cool bakery! They make all their own breads. They give samples of their stuff and they're a generous portion! Only was there once, but the service was good and the food had good taste! The bread was the favorite.

Great food! All fresh ingredients. The staff is very friendly. Sometimes a bit of a wait to order food, but not terrible. A small amount of seating inside, plus a few tables outside the front, and back of the building. Had their Turkey Club and it was really good, along with the Hungarian Mushroom soup, which paired very nicely!

Great bakery with delicious breads, pastries, and dog treats. They mill their own flour, and you can taste it. We haven’t had a pastry or slice of bread (honey whole wheat and beehive white) we haven't enjoyed. Lots of people visit and a popular morning meeting spot. You can smell the bakery when walking down the downtown, and when you see their sign outside, highly recommend you stop in.

Walking into Great Harvest Bread Company in downtown Neenah on a Friday morning was like stepping into a little slice of heaven. It wasn’t super busy, but there was a steady flow of people coming in, grabbing their orders, and heading out. The vibe was chill, with so much to look at, jams, snacks, cookies, muffins, sandwiches. You name it, they’ve got it. And the smell? Unreal. Like, the kind of smell that makes you wanna camp out there forever, even though it’d probably drive you nuts being so hungry all the time. I ordered the Loaded Bacon Breakfast Sandwich on sourdough bread, and wow. Just wow. The egg, bacon, provolone, avocado, tomato, and that garlic herb spread? Perfection. Every single bite was mouth-watering. Like, actual satisfaction in sandwich form. I finished it and immediately wanted more, it’s that good. If you’re ever in the area and thinking, “Where’s a cool spot to grab some good food I’ve never tried before?” this is the place. Trust me, you won’t regret it.

Great Music at great volume. Floor to ceiling windows, beautiful multi-colored brick walls, woodwork everywhere, and perfect amber lighting really just makes this place a warm, welcoming, and inviting experience. Watching people bake bread while I eat my breakfast sandwich is such a novel pleasure. Plenty of smiles and warm behavior from the staff. Huge array of warm or cold sandwiches, along with tons of breads and sweets. Coffee is average. Totally a place to go often. Center location among other quality eateries and shopping makes it a destination experience.
