Elegance Bakery Cafe & Catering Wayne
131 N Wayne Ave, Media, PA
Crema's Take
“This charming bakery cafe across Wayne and Media is a genuine neighborhood gem where the pastries, breads, and quiches are clearly made with care, and the peaceful, well-maintained atmosphere invites you to linger with your chai or coffee for hours. The friendly staff and beautiful space make it feel less like a quick caffeine stop and more like a place where regulars naturally become part of the community, though calling ahead might serve you better than a phone inquiry.”

Phone customer service is not good. They easily hang up if you will not stop talking. They will not LISTEN! you should listen to your customer on the phone or anyone who calls you because you put in the number in your business and you have the responsibility to listen and DON'T HANG UP not unless the caller is DONE TALKING! VERY DISRESPECTFUL!
love it here! had an amazing chai and a really good chocolate chip scone. They also had really beautiful quiches, salads, and breads. The ambiance is really nice as well. It smells lovely, has peaceful music and plenty of seating. Will definitely come back
I like the bread, pastries, salads and soups in the store. Good food and service.
This store is an absolute gem! The friendly staff and clean, well-maintained environment make it a delightful place to visit. Located in a charming town, it’s a great spot to grab a bite. I tried their croissant, quiche, scones, pain au chocolat, and a piece of cake, and each dish had its own unique flavor. My favorite was their muffins—they were just the right balance of sweet and savory. I highly recommend trying their offerings and will definitely be back for more. As a local store, they offer fresh, made-to-order items at reasonable prices, comparable to other similar stores.
Asked for a loaf of sourdough. Thought the shape looked odd so I asked if the girl was sure and she said yes and said I could call the other location where it’s baked. I called and asked if their sourdough looks like a squared loaf of bread and he said yes. I had hoped that it was just shaped different but after cutting into it, this is most definitely not sourdough bread. The place was nice, people were sweet, but this review is solely based on being sold the wrong item even after being told it was the correct item, twice. Responding to owner comment: Thank you for acknowledging my review however my thoughts remain the same. Also, I did call Paoli after speaking to the Wayne location - both told me it was sourdough. If this truly is sourdough bread, it does not resemble in appearance or taste any other sourdough that I’ve had before, nor any that I can find on Google, so I still have my doubts and reservations. We’re eating it. It’s good. Tastes and looks like a loaf of white bread in our opinion. The 2 star review is not a reflection of your establishment, but rather my experience. In most cases, you ask for A and receive B, that requires no stars. In this case, I thought the girl was very sweet and the place was clean. Seems like a nice place. I would try it again. Maybe not for a loaf of bread but rather a cup of coffee or sandwich.
