Dose of Sugar

I don’t frequent Hamtramck very often, but I might call this a hidden gem. Every time I’ve been in they’ve had some variation of tres leches cake. Oreo and Carmel were both fantastic. Also a great iced mocha.

Lovely place. Lovely, hardworking people. Excellent coffee selection with very good quality drinks. From out of town and just happened to stop by and I’m very glad I did! Also they don’t play about that cheesecake

The people that work at Dose of Sugar are very nice and helpful. They take their time to take care of you and your order. From watching how they prepare drinks and food i can tell that they take pride in what they do. They own a great barista coffee machine —> great coffee. The cakes and pastries on display look tasty and well prepared. I ordered the ice cream and an espresso. Both were awesome! The taste great and the quantity (ice) plenty. The atmosphere here is very relaxed and enjoyable. No loud annoying top40 standard music. Nice tiles on the floor and a pretty ceiling with cute decorated walls. Definitely a recommendation!

Most comfortable Cafe in Hamtramck. Loved their cheesecake variety especially the carrot cheesecake. The choco mania cake was good. My family members were satisfied. Definitely coming back here again! Update: I tried the ''Gimme S'more'' cake and the S'mores chocolate cheesecake. Those were on point 👍🏽 The pistachio mousse was delicious also.

My husband and I got two iced matcha lattes, one with vanilla cold foam and the other with strawberry. We also bought three cookies and the owner gave us a slice of cheesecake. The prices are very affordable as well.
