Monae Fusion Brunch Café

First, I must say this restaurant is absolutely amazing! It’s beautifully decorated and puts forth a feeling of warmth and elegance all tied into one. There’s no wonder the ratings are as high as they are because when I tell you the food was absolutely delicious?!! It was scrumptious! The service? Impeccable…..the best I’ve had in a long time! Thank you for providing this “out of towner” (SC) a great brunch experience! 10 out of 10…

Monaes cafe is a really great place to have a long chat with a friend or two! The food was amazing (I had the turk and pesto sandwich, chai latter and my friend had a pizza) And the atmosphere was very nice. I will say, when visiting this location, take your time! There is a bit of wait for the food (expect 30-45 minutes) but if you have nowhere to be, and have time, the wait is not bad! The owner is incredibly personable and loves to chat with customers. Would definitely come back again!

We just had the most incredible brunch experience at Monae Fusion Brunch with my family! 🍴 The food was so good, the staff were super friendly and attentive, and the vibes were totally on point. If you are looking for a spot to satisfy your brunch cravings and get some serious quality time with loved ones I would highly recommend to everyone 🥰

Unfortunately, this wasn’t a great experience, even though I really wanted to like this place. It has a very cute vibe, and everyone we interacted with was genuinely kind. That said, the service was extremely lacking. It felt like the waitstaff was either brand new or very inexperienced, with little attention to the tables. The restaurant wasn’t busy at all, so it didn’t seem like they were overwhelmed, but from start to finish, brunch took nearly two hours. We had to ask to place our order, ask for our check, and even ask for basic things like syrup, which didn’t arrive until halfway through the meal after we were mostly finished. We also noticed other tables struggling with long waits and confusion. The table next to us was told that one of their orders was placed correctly, but the other was accidentally never put in, which added to the overall frustration in the room. It’s also worth noting that this is both a coffee shop and a restaurant, yet there is no drip coffee available. They only offer real sugar and do not carry any sugar alternatives like Splenda or Stevia, which honestly made very little sense for a coffee-focused place or a restaurant in general. On a positive note, I did order one of their iced coffees, and it was delicious hands down my favorite part of the morning. If you decide to come here, I’d recommend giving yourself lots of extra time. The pricing also felt high for what you get, though to be fair, everything is expensive these days. I hope this place improves because the atmosphere and friendliness are definitely there it just needs much better execution.

Our out of town guest picked this restaurant, and it ended up being such a sweet surprise. The food was absolutely delicious. The attention to detail was phenomenal. Every dish was beautifully presented, even if my photos don’t quite do it justice. Service was great, a little slow at times, but genuinely thoughtful. You can tell they care about creating a high quality experience and making sure you are well taken care of. From the smoothies to breakfast to lunch, everything we tried was superb. The menu is unique, fresh, and full of flavor. Highly recommend stopping in and checking this spot out. It is located in a strip mall in a mid neighborhood, but do not let that deter you. This place is an absolute gem.
