Crema's Take
“I notice the reviews provided are for the Iris Motel rather than Iris Cafe, so I don't have accurate information about the coffee shop itself. To write an authentic summary for Crema, I'd need actual cafe reviews that describe their coffee quality, house specialties, atmosphere, and customer experience at the cafe location specifically. Could you provide the correct reviews for Iris Cafe in Nashville?”

I stayed at the Iris Motel last weekend and was honestly really happy with the experience. If you're visiting Nashville and want something affordable, clean, and easy without the chaos of staying right on Broadway, this place is a great option. The first thing I noticed when we walked in was how clean and well kept the room was. Everything felt freshly maintained, and the overall vibe was modern and simple without feeling cheap. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was spotless, and it had everything we needed for a short weekend stay. One thing I appreciated was the contactless check-in. Instead of dealing with a front desk, we received instructions and a door code ahead of time, which made the whole arrival process super smooth. After a long drive, being able to just pull up and go straight to the room was a nice touch. Overall, I'd definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a solid, budget-friendly place to stay in Nashville!!
First and foremost this place was clean. That’s what matters most. So thank you for that. Now, kuddos to whomever took the photos for the website. They definitely made it look more chic and lux than what it is. Not saying it’s bad. It’s nice just not as nice as the pictures look. This is more of an opinion but once inside, the room had more of a kindergarten cubby vibe with primary blue, yellow, pressed wood cubes, and weird metal accent pieces. The Ac unit was loud, sounded like a spaceship amping up for take off every few minutes. Lots of street noise, maybe that doesn’t bother you though. The shower curtain rod was detaching from the wall. It was the rounded ones that give you more room. The curve hung downward and prevented the curtain from being able to close. It’s one good tug from falling on someone’s head. I’m surprised the cleaners didn’t catch that. In summary, it’s lowkey, no frills, affordable accommodations. We just thought we were getting something actual boutique and upscale.
The Iris is great! We booked it a week in advance for my family of four. The location, room quality, and service was top notch. The mom & pop vibes were a welcomed change compared to the corporate and cold vibes of real and expensive hotels. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Easy check in & out process. We will definitely be back!!
You get what you paid for and bring your own pillow! Very basic, but clean. A little noisy due to the location. Room needed some minor repairs. Overall a good option for budget travelers, but the AC unit is SOOOOOO LOUD!!!...and yes, definitely bring your own pillow. The provided pillows were very thin and flimsy.
I booked a room here for two nights. The room looked just like the pictures. Clean, organized, cute, simple, and smelled good. The beds were comfortable and it had an AC unit that kept the room cool. It had lots of parking and it was free!! It is a 9 minute drive from Broadway (which is perfect because we just Uber there anyways). On our second day I had reached out for an accommodation and they were quick to respond and quick to find an accommodation for me. The service, the room, the motel was 10/10. I definitely recommend!!!
