Marie Blachère - Miami

Crema's Take
“Marie Blachère is a French bakery café in Midtown Miami where the pastries and freshly baked bread are genuinely exceptional—think soft, buttery croissants and warm apple tarts that justify a special trip. Beyond the outstanding baked goods, it's a genuinely welcoming spot with plenty of seating and flexible portion sizes, making it equally comfortable for a quick pastry grab or a leisurely breakfast with friends and family.”

I visited this pastry shop (Marie Blachère Bakery & Cafe) in Midtown Miami last week, and unfortunately, my experience wasn’t great. I ordered an omelet, and the supervisor, Claudia, confirmed it was made from liquid eggs. Unfortunately, the taste was extremely poor and I couldn't eat it. I politely asked if I could exchange it for something else since it was inedible. I was told their policy doesn’t allow returns, exchanges, or refunds. When I asked if I could at least get my money back, they said no. The only thing they offered was a free bottle of water. Unfortunately, when I asked to see this policy, they couldn’t show it. Although the supervisor (Claudia) was respectful, I still ended up paying for something I had to throw away. Very disappointing experience. Frankly, shame on the management for a policy like this. P.S. I saw the reply from Mary Bakery, but honestly, it didn’t address the issue. I want to be clear. I don’t support places where policies aren’t applied fairly or consistently to all customers. I suggest your policies should be clearly posted for customers, so everyone knows what to expect. For that reason, I won’t be returning.
Beautiful place, the service is friendly, and the food is delicious. You can also order half a portion for breakfast. It's really great. I took an apple tart to go, and it was also very tasty. Highly recommended.
We are staying at the Hyde Midtown around the block and the concierge recommended Marie’s for breakfast. It did not disappoint and we have been back for every breakfast and lunch since. Food is delicious! Do not miss the Dubai Croissant. The staff is very friendly and helpful. A Miami must-eat.
I recently visited Marie for the first time and was impressed by its cozy and inviting atmosphere. The location is excellent, and there's plenty of seating available, making it a great spot for families. The display of sandwiches, pastries, and other treats is absolutely beautiful and very tempting. I found the prices to be quite reasonable for the quality and presentation. While the croissants were a bit underwhelming, I enjoyed the subs, which come in a nice variety of flavors. The sweets are also quite good and definitely worth trying. Overall, Marie Bajeot is a great spot that I would recommend checking out.
If you’re a fan of freshly baked goods, this restaurant is a must-visit! The bread is absolutely delicious—soft, warm, and bursting with flavor that pairs perfectly with any meal. The croissants? Simply amazing! Flaky, buttery, and a true delight for the senses. While the pastries steal the show, I wouldn’t recommend the salads or the salmon toast; they didn’t quite hit the mark for me. Instead, focus on the bread, the croissants, and the quiches, which are equally delightful and worth every bite. Overall, if you find yourself here, indulge in their baked offerings—you won’t be disappointed!
