The Landing Cafe
230 Ocean St, Hyannis, MA
Crema's Take
“The Landing Cafe is a genuine neighborhood spot where ferry travelers and locals alike grab hearty, fresh sandwiches and breakfast croissants that actually deliver—think melty egg and bacon on butter-soft croissant or veggie wraps overflowing with fresh vegetables. The staff genuinely cares about making your meal feel personal, and the cozy, unhurried atmosphere makes it easy to linger over coffee whether you've got five minutes before your boat or an hour to spare. It's the kind of place where regulars keep coming back, though heads up that the pricing runs a bit high and service can feel scattered when the post-ferry rush hits.”

I was waiting for a ferry to Nantucket and needed a sandwich.I got a veggie wrap on whole wheat that was loaded with beautiful fresh veggies and hummus. It was delicious. The paper napkins was heavy weight and thick, and the plastic tableware was substantial, and the service was cheerful and friendly. It is obvious that somebody cares about every part of the experience here
The egg and bacon and cheese within a croissant was melting my heart. Warmly delicious choice highly recommended.
I have frequented this place probably more than I should. I have just gone through the reviews and, my experience yesterday was similar to others. The staff were there to hangout with one another, My patronage and my food order was an interruption of their “hang time”. The chowder was cold, the Grilled sandwich was soggy, and the salad should have been tossed into the trash bin. I hate that I tipped them. But they get you, when you have to pay first, so if you don’t tip, well in this case? Tip or no tip, they were just there for a paycheck.
I had a very delicious breakfast while waiting for my boat. The staff was so friendly and helpful. I asked them to offer me something with lots of meat and I don’t regret listening to them. Cozy place with nice people. Definitely coming back
It seems like many people have about the same experience. Slightly sad, expensive food. I'll give the staff a little credit because there was a rush after the ferry came in, but the whole staff was a bit stand-offish and dismissive. The food was good if not a little sad looking, but it made do for a quick breakfast sandwich and coffee.
