The Blues, Brews, & BBQ Sunday brunch has always been something we genuinely looked forward to. At $64 per person, it was never inexpensive, but it felt comparable to other resort brunches in town—especially since it included unlimited mimosas or beer, a well-stocked buffet, and attentive table service. On our most recent visit, though, the experience had changed in several noticeable ways. After we had already gone through the buffet, we learned that brunch now includes only one mimosa or beer, with additional drinks requiring a separate drink package. The per-person price hasn’t changed, but what has changed is the overall value. Service was also scaled back. Since drinks are no longer poured tableside, we only saw a server about every 20–30 minutes. In addition, there were fewer options available both on the main buffet and at the BBQ station compared to past visits, which made the experience feel pared down across the board.

The food was really tasty. The scotch selection was limited. My specific server was pretty slow to notice or anticipate my needs very well but other waitresses picked up for him and helped me out. Please clean the silverware more thoroughly.

Wonderful place to eat breakfast while staying at Loew's Ventana Resort. We always get the breakfast buffet which is about $30 per person and very delicious. The Omelette station is the highlight of this buffet and omlettes are made fresh to order.

We visited on three consecutive days. The first two days, Marisol was our server and she was absolutely wonderful very attentive, communicative, and apologetic even when the delays were not her fault. On Monday, November 10th, 2025, the kitchen was extremely slow. We placed our order around 9:30 AM and didn’t receive our food until about 10:45. The restaurant did apologize and comped our meal, which we appreciated, especially since we were already using a comp. The next day the food still took a while to come out, but on the third day everything arrived within about 15 minutes, so it seems like things improved. The restaurant itself is beautiful, the overall service was good, and most of the food was tasty. The only downside was the steak in the steak and eggs it wasn’t the best quality. Other than that, we enjoyed our meals and our experience, especially thanks to Marisol’s great service.

During our stay at Loews Ventana Canyon Resort, we had the pleasure of enjoying breakfast at The Canyon Club, and it was a delightful experience from start to finish. We were seated at a lovely table near the expansive windows, providing a serene view of the outdoors. To our pleasant surprise, we could observe the pit master diligently preparing the smoker for the upcoming Blues, Brews & BBQ Sunday Brunch, adding an authentic touch to the ambiance. For our meal, we selected the Breakfast Burrito and the Avocado Toast. The Breakfast Burrito was a hearty combination of scrambled cage-free eggs, bacon, red onion, peppers, cheddar, canyon potatoes, avocado crema, and pico de gallo. Each bite was a harmonious blend of flavors and textures, making it a standout dish. The Avocado Toast featured 9-grain bread topped with smashed avocado, a soft-poached egg, radish, pickled vegetables, goat feta, and pomegranate seeds. The freshness of the ingredients and the thoughtful pairing resulted in a light yet satisfying option. The Canyon Club offers breakfast daily from 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM. On Sundays, they host the renowned Blues, Brews & BBQ Brunch between 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM, featuring live music, delectable BBQ dishes, and local brews—a treat we hope to experience on our next visit. The combination of delectable cuisine, attentive service made our breakfast at The Canyon Club quite enjoyable. We highly recommend this spot to anyone visiting the resort and look forward to dining here again. Thank you J.S. ;-)
