Crema's Take

White Mountain Cafe & Bookstore feels like the kind of place where you're meant to linger: nestled beside the river with picnic tables that invite you to stay awhile, shelves of books to browse, and a menu that takes real care with both coffee and food. Their cold brew iced lattes draw genuine raves, and they've clearly mastered the breakfast game with fresh, thoughtfully-made sandwiches and breakfast burritos—plus genuinely good vegan options that go beyond an afterthought. It's the rare spot that works equally well for a solo coffee-and-book session, a family outing, or meeting a friend, all without feeling rushed or generic.

I really enjoy coming here when I visit the area. They have vegan breakfast options and that's so hard to find. I find the texture and flavor more than acceptable. My favorite so far is the Adams sandwich. It comes with vegan sausage and egg with pesto. I like getting it in a wrap because it portable. The pesto on it is SO good. They had soy milk and fun coffee options. I also believe it's a fair price for vegan and the portions. Thank you for having vegan food!

Stopped in while waiting for the bank to open and grabbed a breakfast burrito and a americano. All ingredients were fresh and very flavorful. The burrito was put together well and wrapped well.Very tasty sandwich and the americano was strong and tasty.Great.Not to mention the cleanliness, one of the workers was meticulously cleaning, even under the tables on the legs of the tables. It was great to see

I got the cold brew iced latte and I got my partner and I both breaskfast sandwiches. This is quite possibly the best coffee I've ever had! And the sandwiches are delicious! But this coffee i will remember for a long time!

We visited on a Wednesday in late June 2025 for just a lunch time coffee. We were actually at the McDonalds next door and my wife saw the store and wanted to check it out. We had already ordered food at the McDonalds. We were pleasantly surprised how nice it was inside. She insisted on getting a coffee and I can't remember the life of me what she ordered but I remember her saying it was good. We took a look around the store a bit and they had ALOT of stuff. There is also a small eating area around the front but it was a little tight to navigate through. I wish we had seen it sooner before we place our mobile order at McDonalds but we'd probably come back and try this if we were in the area. We were driving through on a road trip.

On our way to VT we stopped at this sweet cafe for lunch. Friendly service, busy spot! We were fortunate to get a picnic table riverside, to enjoy our yummy repast. Turkey Panini’s cooked to perfection with spicy pickle chips cannot be beat. Help your self to an organic tea and enjoy. Bonus our pups got to sit with us.
