Crema's Take
“Turner Donut Shop is a beloved Bradenton institution that's been perfecting their craft for over 50 years, and they're still making donuts the right way—with a signature potato yeast that keeps locals coming back for their famous fresh-made varieties like sugar twists, French crullers, and apple fritters. The vibe is pure old-school diner charm where you can grab a quick coffee and pastry or settle in for a full breakfast with eggs and toast for under five dollars, all served by genuinely friendly staff who move with impressive speed. This is where quality ingredients, reasonable prices, and genuine care for the community create something special that feels like home.”

Awesome little mom and Pop donut shop, exactly what you wanted to be exactly what it’s supposed to be great raised donuts. I ended up getting the sugar twist and a large cinnamon roll but the character in the place is fantastic. It looks like they have some breakfasts. I saw what looked to be regulars sitting in there enjoying their coffee. It looks like a very comfortable glove you walk in and grab some donuts and you smile and you leave. Feel comfortable that you’re gonna get good donuts.

This place Rocks Old School!!! I had a coffee, egg and cheese on toast for $5 Unbelievable!!! Delicious, fresh and made in a Flash!! The staff service is quick, polite and friendly!! I finished off with a maple donut the size of your face!! The place resembles a 1960s donut dinner!! Go to this place and catch the vibes!! Walk, run, fly to this place it's a fun, fabulous journey in a industrial area truly worthy of your time!!!
Stopped in early Monday morning to pickup a couple of donuts. I got an apple fritter for my coworker and a French cruller and an orange donut. I didn’t get a pic of the fritter but I was told it was delicious. My orange was great and cruller was ate the next day and it was just ok but it was a day old at that point. I’ve had better donuts in Alaska but these are not bad at all. The big question is will I go back? Yes I would but just don’t eat donuts very often.
Just got back from breakfast at Turner’s Donuts and everything about it was fantastic. The atmosphere is giving old-school diner and the donuts are made in house using a special potato yeast. The prices are crazy cheap for such good food - We got 2 donuts, 2 croissant breakfast sandwiches and 2 medium coffees for $15! Plus the sandwiches were ready about 2 min after we ordered them. The owners are super nice as well. Would highly recommend checking this place out!
