The Laundry Cafe - Evanston

Love this place! Went last night because my washer is broken and I had tons of laundry to do (have three kids). This place made me actually like doing laundry! I sat and worked in the cute cafe while brand new, clean and efficient machines did their work. Met the owners who are really friendly and interesting…local entrepreneurs. I NEVER write reviews but I was so dreading going to sit at a laundromat on a Friday night and my experience was the complete opposite!

They put the fun in laundry. Very clean well organized. Different size machines to accommodate all types of loads. The machines are fast can wash and dry in about an hour. And as the title says Laundry Cafe they have a full cafe so you can get your favorite drink and snacks too.

This laundry is amazing. It’s like having a fun time while you wash clothes.!!! who knew?!!? the little café is adorable!! and they keep it clean and the people that wash there are very considerate of others. They have great washers and great dryers.!

If you have to do your laundry, why not enjoy it? I loved my visit to Laundry Cafe and might end up here every weekend. Everything is sparkling clean. Nice big tables to work on projects or homework while your machines run. I would say the machines are on the more expensive side, however after having to endure so many nasty laundromats I'll gladly pay the extra price for an efficient machine that is CLEAN clean. Super friendly staff showed me how to use everything. Please come support this business, I really want them to stick around and it's such a fantastic addition to the area

Since this place is only a few months old, they have brand new machines y’all. BRAND NEW MACHINES. Not ancient crusty old ones that are ten-twenty years old that are gross and loud as h3ll!! It is bright, airy and cute in here and also very VERY clean. There are high ceilings, big windows, so much cute landscaping outside and tons of free parking in a lot directly outside of the door. It’s hidden in an alleyway so no traffic to deal with coming in and out, it is in a very peaceful and quiet area. Every other laundry spot I’ve ever been to has felt like a cross between the DMV and a greyhound bus stop. Not this place, it is seriously adorable, well decorated and organized. It’s genuinely pleasant to hang out here while you wait for your wash. This place makes me actually look forward to doing my laundry, it sounds so cheesy and lame but it is true. In all of my thirty one years, (not like the bar is high let’s be real but) I have NEVER been to a better laundry spot. Period. The prices for them to do your laundry for you are very very reasonable and they use all natural detergent and have multiple options, it cost me $40 for an enormous bag including sheets and towels. A load of wash yourself is $8.75 but drier is only $1.75 per half hour and an hour does it so about $13 for a medium/large load. PLEASE come here if this place goes out of business I’ll die I am never ever going anywhere else ever again!
