One Line Coffee - Franklinton
471 W Rich St, Columbus, OH
Crema's Take
“Tucked in Franklinton, One Line Coffee strikes that rare balance between serious espresso craft and genuine hospitality—baristas who remember to customize your matcha just right and actually seem glad you're there. The space itself feels intentionally designed for lingering, whether you're settling in with your laptop for hours, meeting a friend for a real conversation, or just grabbing a pour-over that tastes nothing like the chains nearby. It's the kind of neighborhood spot that makes locals stop exploring elsewhere because they've found exactly what they were looking for.”

I live in the area and stopped in because I usually go to Maudines or Starbucks but wanted to try something new. I brought my pup because other coffee shops give him a pup cup so we were excited to try One Line. Unfortunately, we were kicked out because the woman said dogs aren’t allowed. I get that each place has their own policy but it was the way this woman said it and made us feel extremely unwelcome . Will keep my business elsewhere.
I love OLC. I really do. I love their ambients, the way that the place is easy going, the dynamic of you being able to be there to have a talk, to study or work, to be around family. I love the amount of coffee options and I know how the staff knows what they are doing. They are definitely specialists! And I love seeing specialists and good energy people making good coffee. I think the only thing that will always fairly be my complaint is how hot the coffee comes. Not sure if it’s to ensure coffee integrity, or ifs lack of warming the cups first so the coffee can be poured and not being cold from the cold mugs. But it’s one of my favorite places to be. Not to mention this Franklinton one has sooo many food options. I loved it.
Tried their matcha with soy milk and Splenda! They were so nice and let me customized my order :) Will be stopping by again.
Atmosphere is good, kept clean and friendly staff. Very close to downtown. Coffee was better than chain coffee stores and tasted lot better. Cost is comparable to others.
I didn’t know this place and I was very surprised about it! Different space: very clean and neat. Good place to work and relax. Coffee is always very good. Espresso is always good and I got a Kyoto coffee too and I loved it. Didn’t get any food, but looking around me it looked delicious. They also have beers and wine. I will definitely go back again and try more things.
