Cafe Fresco Linglestown
2017 Eg Dr, Harrisburg, PA
Crema's Take
“Tucked right off Linglestown Road, Cafe Fresco is a genuinely warm neighborhood spot where the staff's friendliness matches the quality of their food and drinks. Whether you're settling in for a full breakfast, a leisurely lunch, or meeting a friend over a carefully made mocha latte, the cozy atmosphere invites you to stay awhile and actually enjoy your time there. It's the kind of place that feels like a local institution—casual enough for families and construction workers grabbing a break, but thoughtful enough that regulars genuinely miss it when they move away.”

This is a cute little cafe, right off of linglestown road. I had a cheese steak wrap and a mocha latte. Both were delicious; not only that but all the workers were so friendly. One even held the door for me when I left. I'll be back!
My wife and I came in for a late lunch. The food and atmosphere was amazing.
Myself and a coworker had been working in Harrisburg for the past week and a half, working outside in the heavy construction industry with record high temps. When lunch time comes around we look for healthy and light options. So thankful to have found Cafe Fresco the first day, the keep us feed the entirety of our time here in town. The salads are absolutely delicious, and plentiful. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. I would recommend this establishment to anyone looking for healthy, fresh and tasty food.
I used to visit the Paxton Street location pretty frequently when I worked nearby. Didn't get there as much when I changed jobs and was sad to discover they had closed. I didn't realize they would be reopening on Linglestown Rd. When I discovered that last night, I knew exactly where I was having lunch today. I was very surprised to read negative reviews about the increased prices, decreased portion sizes, and the tipping situation. I didn't experience any of this so I felt compelled to leave my own review. 1. I paid $20 including the tip and an upgrade from chips to fries for a very full sandwich, large drink and heaping stack of hot, fresh French fries I couldn't finish despite my best efforts. The sandwich was exactly as it was on Paxton St. with regard to quality, flavor, and portion size. 2. I had an option to choose "other" for the tip amount and was not forced to select 18%, 20%, or none at as some other reviews had indicated. Maybe this was changed since then and, if so, kudos to them for listening to their customers! 3. The person who took my order was friendly as was the person who brought by food and there were no issues with my modification to my favorite sandwich. 4. My food arrived hot, fresh, and just as good as I remembered it. I think some people just like to complain. Their loss. My meal was terrific; the price was fair to me for what I received, and I am thrilled to have them closer to my home so I can visit more often. Thanks Cafe Fresco!
I thought it would be like the food in their commercials of Center City, but it's more like a slightly better Panera type place that costs more. It's like Simply Turkey on Front St and McAlister's Deli on Jonestown. This type of cuisine is not my type of food. Maybe if the prices were lower. I probably paid too much tip ($7) on a $33 meal because they only bring the tray of food to you. This was my $40 meal below. The soup was good but sandwich small and salad average taste. I'd like to try the Center City locale one day though, but I won't return here.
