Crema's Take

Tucked into Jacksonville, Code 3 Coffee & Snacks is a charming drive-thru spot that's earned serious love for its creative specialty drinks—particularly the "Big Dill" dill pickle lemonade that keeps customers coming back. Beyond exceptional coffee, they're known for thoughtful food offerings like pulled pork sandwiches and chicken bentos alongside pastries and Italian sodas with surprising flavor variety, all at prices that feel refreshingly fair. With two drive-thru lanes and a genuinely warm atmosphere, it's the kind of place that becomes a daily stop during a visit to the area rather than just a quick caffeine run.

I got the chicken bento and a summer sunset, which was delicious (even without vegetables on the bento). This would absolutely be a 5 star review if it weren't for the barista who took my order. I have strabismus (a lazy eye), and there is a confused 'what is wrong with your face' type of look people give me every great now and then. It rarely happens, but for people who have never seen it or think it's super weird, they act stand offish..and it sucks. I felt like i couldn't even look over at her because I was so embarrassed about the way she was looking at and talking to me. Most people just treat me like everyone else and that is the way it should be, especially in the service industry. Maybe she was just having a bad week..but it sucked. From her, I got terrible service. It was cold and short. I originally asked for a cold brew and moments later asked for a summer sunset, and even though she asked "so you want the strawberry and orange cream" and I said yes please, she didn't change the order and they had started making the cold brew. Which is fine they switched it, but she acted confused and annoyed by it when she came back over. Nobody is perfect, but customer service is about making the customer feel welcome and excited about coming to your establishment. I absolutely did not. The lady that handed me the bento and the barista at the other window definitely understand that. I appreciate those two. But I probably wouldn't come back if it was her in the drive thru.

A very nice drive up coffee shop. The have some pastries and ice-cream. They have lots of coffee and different drinks. We especially like the "Big Dill" which is a dill pickle lemonade. They do have some outdoor seating available under a pergola.

We stopped because of the Pickle Lemonade sign. They did not disappoint. It was divine. The prices are low, customer service is fantastic. Highly recommend this quick stop if you are out exploring. A+++

We stayed in Jacksonville for 4th of July weekend… came to this little coffee shop almost everyday. If you’re driving by or staying nearby, check them out… yummy, super cute, friendly staff. You can order at the drive thru, eat it on their little patio or drive up to Buckley park about 1/2 a mile away and enjoy your coffee and snacks by the river. We had their coffee hot & iced, pickle lemonade, two-top nachos, breakfast burritos, bagels and their soft served cones
