De Novo Market & Tap

Crema's Take
“De Novo Market & Tap is a Tucson gem where serious espresso craftsmanship meets genuinely welcoming vibes—their baristas pull shots on a vintage machine that demands real skill, and it shows in every cup. Beyond the exceptional espresso, this place brilliantly balances being both a quick caffeine stop and a leisurely destination, with thoughtfully plated food, beautiful interior design, and flexible seating (indoor and outdoor) that makes it equally perfect for solo work sessions or gathering with friends. The whole operation feels like it's run by people who actually care, creating a safe, unpretentious space where coffee snobs and casual visitors alike feel equally at home.”

Great service and atmosphere. We enjoyed the seating options both inside and outside. The food was tasty and plated very nicely. Many drink options and grab-and-go options for the work week. We will be back!
Very cute spot, safe place for all coffee snobs! The espresso is top notch, and these folks use the old school espresso machine that requires mad skills! Thank you for the perfect espresso! The baked goods smell amazing and they have healthy lunch options, I had the Cobb salad for lunch yesterday, and it’s packed with beautiful fresh greens. Cute place!
De Novo has hosted a number of parties for my kickball league, and they never disappoint. From the food to the drinks, I will always recommend them!
This local cafe has incredible food, amazing snacks to go, and drinks that are whimsical and tasty. The interior design is beautiful, the vibes are phenomenal, and the prices are affordable. If you're looking for brunch, drinks, or a place to just relax definitely check it out.
I just absolutely love love love this place. It's become my go-to spot for meetings, lunch, happy hour, a quick bite, or coffee. Staff are wonderful - Emmy especially. My whole office takes regular walks over. Their soups are my absolute favorite - every kind I've tried is great. As I sit here munching on my blueberry muffin from this morning, I have to do a shout out on their fresh baked goods. It's too spicy for me, but some of my staff make a daily pilgrimage for their spicy chips. If you're downtown working or visiting, give it a try for breakfast, lunch, or happy hour!
