Crema's Take

Moona Moono in Uptown is a thoughtfully curated third space where exceptional coffee meets Asian culture, stocked with Korean beauty products, stationery, and kawaii home goods that make browsing as delightful as sipping. The baristas—like Gabby—genuinely listen to your palate and craft personalized recommendations, whether you're ordering their standout matcha donut and black sesame latte or exploring creative signature drinks, all while your pup gets treated like a valued regular. It's the kind of warm, dog-friendly spot that feels designed for lingering over a slow sit with friends or family, where both the coffee and the whole experience reflect real care.

This is such a cute café that combines coffee and Asian culture. They carry some of the cutest stationery, Korean beauty products (e.g. Torriden, Anua, Aestura, Round Lab), yummy Asian snacks, blind boxes, plushies, and even kitchenware. I was obsessed with the stickers! I was surprised at how pricey they were about $5–6 per sheet and $4–6 for individual ones, but I still bought one because I couldn’t help it, hehe. I visited during an event, and parking wasn’t difficult. There’s paid street parking right in front of the store and around the neighborhood. There’s plenty of seating, both at tables and by the window. I didn’t have to wait long for my order. I also loved that they offer unsweetened matcha latte, which I don’t usually see at other cafés.

Hands down the BEST coffee I’ve had. I am not much of a coffee drinker so I wasn’t sure what I would like. The Barista (Gabby) listened to what we liked and disliked out of coffee and boba and she recommended two amazing drinks. I never thought I’d like a drink with maple in it, but hands down the best! I truly enjoyed the full experience. From the ordering process, recommendations to drinking the drinks! Thank you SO much for the great experience. We will be back and will recommend when given the chance!

I knew before even coming I'd love it here, but the fact I got to bring my dog, & that she got such a warm welcome from so many @ Moona really took it over the top. The owner insisted she get a pup cup. 😌 Along with that, I was blown away by the owner's creativity in the beauty of the merchandise she's curated. I failed to get photos, but she had such totally unique, cool, gorgeous, quality things available, that I hadn't seen anywhere else (from small businesses). I especially loved her obvious appreciation for artistic & creative expression - there were several fantastic books and so many beautiful supplies available to encourage this. It was so energizing, even just looking through it. I can't wait to actually come back and get something next time. What a gift, to have a space like this added to our community. 🩷

Really cute shop, I had a fun time browsing the trinkets & home decor. As for the drinks, they were okay. We ordered— • lavender matcha $7 • iced black tea $7 • matcha donut • Yuzu strawberry specialty drink $7 I LOVED the Yuzu Strawberry drink!! It had such a fun flavor and I wish I had gotten that instead. The donut was also big and very delicious. The matcha was OK, I didn’t find it to be anything special. The only concern I had is that the plain iced black tea was overpriced in my opinion. I do not think that all iced drinks should be based at $7. The plain black tea definitely is not comparable to the specialty strawberry yuzu. The owner did approach us at the end of our visit and asked for some feedback which caught me by surprise. I’ll give the shop the benefit of the doubt though since they recently opened and are trying to figure things out! Overall, good addition to the city
