T & D Coney Grill

Stopped into T & D Coney while visiting Michigan and Michigan State for the hockey and basketball games, and what a great find! I ordered a classic breakfast—eggs, sausage, bacon, hash browns, toast, and coffee—and everything was perfectly done. The food was fresh, hot, and full of that classic Midwest flavor I’ve missed.The coffee was excellent, and the service was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and welcoming from start to finish. This place captures everything that’s great about a traditional Midwest diner. If you’re near campus, don’t hesitate to stop in for breakfast before enjoying all the Spartan events. Highly recommended!

Came in with my boss while we were in town for work, great food and service, the BLT was great, and the fries are the best kind of fries you will get at a coney. We will be back if given the time and chance.

Renee is hands down one of the best waitresses I’ve ever had! She was always smiling, friendly, and genuinely caring from start to finish. She checked on my coffee before it was ever empty — which to me is HUGE — and made sure my order was perfect. My food came out delicious and exactly as I ordered. Renee even brought my bill at just the right time without me ever feeling rushed. The atmosphere was great, the food was amazing, and the service was beyond excellent. Renee truly goes above and beyond — I’m a customer for life. Highly recommend!

They didn't have kids chicken strips. The smallest amount of fries given for kids cheeseburger ever seen. Cheeseburger was super dry. Both omelet orders were wrong. The least amount of corned beef in a corned beef omelet ever. Almost $4 for a coffee with no refills. Waitstaff that doesn't check up. But the sausage was good, but not good enough to ever return.

Went to breakfast here for the first time this morning. My husband had the Canadian French toast. I thought it sounded like a strange combination of foods but it was so good! I can't wait to go back so that I can order it for myself.
