Crema's Take
“Cafe Sofia is a charming West Hartford spot where exceptional crepes steal the show alongside thoughtfully crafted specialty lattes—think Almond Joy and Pumpkin Cinnamon varieties that locals rave about with genuine enthusiasm. The cozy, packed-to-the-rafters atmosphere makes it perfect for lingering over coffee and pastries, whether you're meeting a friend or treating yourself to something special after dinner elsewhere. It's the kind of place that feels like a neighborhood gem, with a warm homely vibe and a real commitment to making each item, from the food to the drinks, feel like genuine craftsmanship.”

Oh my BUSS this is just fascinating. This crepe was impeccable, a compliment to what it means to make art in the food industry. Michelin even. The texture was like a perfect pen on paper, the taste was bombostorous, and the look? Monolithic in its delivery. It was made with such care and precision that the sparks of mercy from the panini press shined in pride. The espresso was just as magnificent. This place is what fine dining in a breakfast and treat setting, should always be the standard of.
Great atmosphere and great coffee. Their prosciutto crepe with mozzarella is absolutely epic👌
We stumbled upon Cafe Sophia whilst exploring around the area. This cafe has a warm, homely feel and was packed to the rafters! We ordered an Almond Joy Latte, Pumpkin Cinnamon Latte with whipped cream, Coffee, Powder Almond Cookie and Pistachio Baklava. My sis in law really enjoyed her coffee. She mentioned it was full bodied, zero sediment and no funky after taste whatsoever. The Pumpkin Cinnamon Latte was delicious. With the addition of the cream it was extra special. My partner liked his Almond Joy. It was my first time eating Almond Cookies and they were melt in the mouth scrumptious. The service was quick and the lady who took our order was friendly. Fabulous coffee that is definitely loved by the locals. There is plenty of parking outside that you need to pay for (Mon to Sat). Sunday is free.
Me and my Wife stopped here after dinner that we had in other, local establishment for some dessert. Wanted to try different location instead of ordering dessert in restaurant. Place have few tables outside and some inside. It's not big. We decided to eat inside. There were quiet few people there on their laptops, one of them with 3 monitors which I'm finding funny (you don't have your home lol). We got some ice creams and shakes. They were good, nothing crazy spectacular. Just regular ice cream and shakes. Typical price for those things.
The cafe interior vibe cozy and I am assuming with outdoor seating in the summers it must be a cool spot to spend some time at since it is on a lively WeHa street. This was my first time picking up a Coconut Creme Latte from here. The atmosphere was welcoming. However, I couldn’t really taste coconut and vanilla flavours evidently in my latte. Hopefully I have better luck next time.
