Crema's Take

Felix Roasting Co. serves some of Aspen's best breakfast sandwiches alongside espresso drinks that justify the splurge, with a genuinely gorgeous space that works equally well for a quick caffeine hit or a few hours of remote work. The cinnamon buns are legitimately exceptional, and the staff—particularly regulars like Justine—actually care about making your visit feel special rather than transactional. If you're in town for skiing or just passing through, this is the kind of coffee shop worth building your morning around.

What to expect

Espresso-focused, with a pour-over program. A slow-sit, laptop-friendly spot, good for meetings. Full breakfast, pastries, and light food on the menu.

There's no other place to go if you want a breakfast sandwich and one of the best cups of coffee! Aspen skiing right down the street. The Hotel is so convenient and old and pretty. I highly recommend this amazing place for coffees and tea. So charming.

Such a gorgeous coffee shop and I loved working remote here for a few hours. They have my favorite tea brand (Rishi) and delicious coffee! Yes, it’s spendy but it’s a fun treat. The service was also very friendly.

I love coffee and this place is very nice looking. I’m not one for critiquing the beans themselves because I understand the flavor profiles people like vary, but I ordered a cortado and wasn’t a huge fan. Texture was off and latte art was weak. Service was nothing spectacular…
