Friendly customer service but would recommend a point sheet for counter help that don't know the details about what to tell a customer about the process or how to deal with the issue. Also would appreciate a price scale for paring knives (blades that are up to 4" long) and all other kitchen knives. Twelve dollars seems like a lot to pay for sharpening a paring knife. Otherwise my interactions with staff were friendly, professional and my knives were sharpened to perfection! Will come again!

I went in to Athens Cook yesterday, looking to put together a small tea basket for a friend‘s birthday and received the most wonderful help by a gentleman by the name of Hunter who helped me gather things together and give recommendations and put together a tea basket. While I was there, I ran across some aprons and my friend loves to cook so I ended up buying an apron as well which became her birthday present and I kept the T gift for myself. It was a wonderful experience and everybody there was so nice and so professional and I’m looking forward to going back again and having lunch there sometime as their menu and food looks delicious!❤️

I took two knives to Athens Cooks to see how well they sharpened them. I had damaged the edges by years of using a pull through sharpener at home, but the knives came back beautifully sharpened and clean-edged. I will use them in my other knives and have recommended them to friends.

Athens Cooks is the absolute best spot to get gifts for practically everyone. Whether they cook, or if they just eat, this place will have something for them. Bonus that they carry a ton of Opinel knives and kitchen tools. Also, they make divine sandwiches!

Such a jewel for Athens! My friends have been telling me to come for a long time. I finally made it over. Store is stocked to the rafters (literally, lol) with kitchen stuff you just can't find anywhere else locally. Staff is great and attentive. If you are a cook or are buying for a cook, highly recommended and worth a visit!
