Crema's Take

Tucked into Rodeo 39 in Garden Grove, Here&There is a matcha lover's dream and serious coffee destination rolled into one welcoming space. Their double matcha and maple matcha are standouts with real depth of flavor, and they've clearly mastered espresso-based drinks like their celebrated Spanish latte, but it's the warm, stay-awhile atmosphere and thoughtful vegan pastries (the chocolate sea salt donut is a must) that keep locals coming back.

The new-ish coffee/tea shop at Rodeo 39 is a solid addition to the cafe lineup! Here&There replaces the old coffee shop right at the front of Rodeo39. I go in the mornings and parking is ample (although the traffic getting in could be rough). They have baked goods available along with a pretty good selection of different cafe drinks that have hit most modern coffee shops. I've gotten a few drinks here and think they're all solid. For the iced matcha latte, I like how they are very upfront about the ceremonial grade of matcha that they use. I think it's solid, and they have both oat and almond milk options to choose from. Not too earthy and a little nutty at least to me. (I last paid around $7 for this.) For the yuzu matcha tonic, they use a tonic that isn't super carbonated and not overly sweet. You can also let them know to use less syrup which also helps to make this less sweet. For the cold brew latte, I think the coffee is pretty smooth and not too bitter. I also like the almond milk they use that it doesn't overpower the drink. (I last paid around $5.50 for this.) Pricing is pretty on average with the cafes around here. I haven't tried any of the pastries so can't comment on these selections, but they seemed pretty varied. Service is always super solid and helpful as well. Seating is plentiful since it uses the Rodeo39 front patio seats (along with the rest of the venue). Would come back!

🌿☕ Absolutely loved my visit to Here&There Coffee! This place has such a warm, welcoming vibe, the kind of spot where you just want to stay a while. ✨ I ordered the SPANISH (Vegan) and it was incredible, rich espresso with vegan condensed milk and just the right touch of cinnamon. 🌱💥 A must-try if you're into dairy-free options that don't compromise on flavor! Also had the Lavender Matcha, super refreshing and calming, with a beautiful floral twist. 💜🍵 It’s so great to see places offering creative drinks beyond the usual menu. Whether you're vegan or just looking for a cozy café with amazing drinks, Here&There Coffee is a gem 💎. Definitely coming back for more! #VeganCoffee #LavenderMatcha #HealthyOptions #CozyVibes #PlantBasedLove #HereAndThereCoffee

I am obsessed with their double matcha as well as their maple matcha! Not only is it smooth, but the flavor is pretty strong! Their vegan donuts are my favorite, especially the chocolate sea salt one. Service was really good, the staff is super friendly! I’m going back for sure whenever I’m in the area!

Absolutely loved this cafe! The strawberry latte was delicious — perfectly balanced and not too sweet. The pour over coffee had a rich, smooth flavor. The atmosphere was cozy and warm, and the staff were super friendly.
