Café Postale
950 S 10th St, La Vista, NE
Crema's Take
“Housed in a historic downtown building near Omaha's old post office, Café Postale nails that rare balance of being both a lingering destination and a quick-grab spot, with a genuinely warm staff (regulars rave about the patience and kindness here) and a lively neighborhood energy where conversation flows as freely as the coffee. Beyond solid traditional espresso drinks, they're doing creative seasonal work with matcha lattes and other specials, paired with quick, well-executed breakfast sandwiches and pastries that keep people coming back. It's the kind of place where you pop in for a coffee and accidentally spend your whole morning—beautiful bones, reasonable prices, and that unmistakable vibe of somewhere the locals actually want to be.”

Amazing space, great food, mimosas by the bottle, decent pricing, friendly staff, next to the trains. What more could a guy ask for in a breakfast joint?
Went in for a quick coffee break and ended up staying longer than planned. The place had a relaxed, neighborhood feel, nothing fancy but comfortable. I ordered a regular latte and a breakfast sandwich. Coffee was smooth, not too bitter, and served hot which I apreciate. The sandwich took a few minutes but tasted fresh and filling. Staff was polite and didn’t rush anyone, even during a busier moment. Seating was decent, though it can get a little tight if you come at peak time. Overall, it’s a solid spot if you want good coffee, a calm vibe, and a place where you can sit and unwind for a bit without feeling out of place.
I came in to place a large to-go order, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. Holly helped me, and she was truly lovely—so patient and kind while I placed my order. The matcha latte was to die for, the food was fantastic, and the atmosphere was beautiful. The space felt calm, with great music at the perfect volume, and everything was spotless. I’ll definitely be back to try the happy hour!
Great palace to have a nice time while enjoying a great coffee. Please keep in mind that this is not a library so expect laughs and lots of chatting from people around you. People come here to talk and enjoy a breakfast sandwich with family and friends. NO PETS food or drinks are allowed in this place.
Wow. Beautiful building. Beautiful space for a café. Warm and inviting. In historic building downtown near the Omaha post office headquarters. Food is made fast. Seasonal drink menu is filled with delicious flavors. They add new items to the food menu. I ordered a hot mint matcha drink and the everything bagel sandwich.
