Ground Up Coffee

Great coffee shop close to the Quinnipiac campus. I felt so bad for the single server handling the register and all of the drinks. It ended up taking me 15 minutes to get a small drip coffee 😐.

This place has all of the coffee shop essentials drinks like espresso based drinks and matcha lattes. They even have special flavor combos and fun ice teas. But the real treat here are the fresh bagels! They have plain and everything bagels, and also a rotating daily special flavor like cinnamon raisin! These are the best bagels around and I always seek them out when I'm anywhere nearby. Must try!

This coffee shop is an absolute gem! From the perfect grinder to the top-notch espresso machine, every detail is spot on. The coffee is simply incredible, bursting with rich flavors that make every sip a delight. The staff is exceptionally friendly and welcoming, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. I can't wait to return for another amazing cup!

I’ve been here a few times so far this year, and I love it! This coffee shop definitely gives “small town/quaint” coffee shop vibes. By that I mean it has an effortless, welcoming, authentic feel. It is simple, uncomplicated, and inexpensive- a gem for coffee people. Today I ordered the seasonal S’mores cold brew for my occasional sweet coffee treat (I tend to prefer a splash of cream only) and it was a delight! The service is always fast, friendly, and the server(s) are helpful in explaining different things if asked. The food fantastic the times I’ve ordered it. The cafe is spotless.

Love their coffee and we used to LOVE their bagels. I don’t know if they switched where they get them from, but the new bagels are so so bad. It’s a kaiser roll. Coffee is still great and the flavors are never too sweet. Don’t come here for the bagels, though (unless today was a fluke).
