Gemelli Restaurant

Crema's Take
“I appreciate you sharing this, but I need to let you know that Gemelli appears to be primarily an Italian restaurant rather than a specialty coffee destination. While the Google tags mention "traditional drinks" and it opens late (which could suggest coffee service), the reviews focus entirely on their pasta, seafood, and Italian cuisine—there's no mention of specialty coffee, espresso drinks, or coffee culture that would make this relevant for Crema's coffee-focused audience. If Gemelli does serve notable coffee alongside their food, I'd need reviews or details that specifically highlight that experience to write an authentic summary for our community.”

Myself and the family tried a nice Italian restaurant in Asheville, North Carolina. I had the Calabrian Scampi which was good. The wife had the Ragu which was just ok. The daughter had the Burrata Alla Vodka with chicken added. All of us sampled it and loved it. I ordered the Fall Fashioned which was actually good for a none bourbon drinker. The wife ordered the Amalfi Agave and she said it is just ok. (It has a strong lemon flavor). We ordered the ciabatta bread which was a bit hard.
My Fiance & I did Chef Cerratos’ (father & son) Feast of the Seven Fishes pre fixe dinner on the 23rd of December. OH MY GOLLY! We agreed that the primo piatto squid ink spaghetti with shrimp & octopus in a cream sauce (garnished with fennel micro greens!) was the best pasta either of us had ever eaten. Without going into detail on each course, every one was outstanding. Cannot wait for Gemelli’s new location (across from the Bohemian Hotel) to open. Viva Gemellis!
A lucky find by chance. We wanted Italian cuisine, instead of the brewery food we had for the last two days. Their pasta is homemade every day, which lead to our decision to try it, and it was a great decision. The lasagna was delicious, it had a great flavor, and served with a flavorful vodka sauce. The pasta ala vodka was very good, the portion was large, with a large ball of burrata cheese on top. The side salad with a roasted garlic vinegerett was larger than expected, it was very fresh with heirloom tomatoes and shaved carrots. The tiramisu - one of the best ever we've had, and we've had a lot of them. Our server, Michael, was pleasant and attentive. Don't let the location in a strip center stop you from enjoying this excellent restaurant. Price is very fair, comparable to any Italian restaurant. Atmosphere was very pleasant, quiet, very easy to converse. Highly recommend this venue.
Another one in the books!! Well done Gemeli”s. As always did not disappoint. Enjoyed all the dishes ordered and introduced new patrons. They were very impressed by the menu options and the fact that seed oil are not used We all will be back. Michael our server was fun, great and very accommodating.
