Crema's Take
“Tucked inside a charming independent bookstore, Bellwood Coffee creates an unexpectedly cozy sanctuary for coffee lovers who don't mind cozying up in intimate quarters. Their espresso-focused menu shines through meticulously crafted cappuccinos and creative seasonal drinks like their standout S'mores latte, while friendly baristas and fresh pastries (especially their empanadas) make it easy to linger with a book or laptop. Fair warning: seating is snug and parking requires a bit of hunting, but the vibrant aesthetic and genuine care in every cup make it worth the effort.”

Coffee shop is located inside a really cute bookstore! They do not validate parking, we were unable to find street parking so parked in the garage across Rebel tea that was a few minute walk away, priced at $6 an hour. Their classic salted caramel iced latte was phenomenal, as was their seasonal sugar cookie iced latte. Perfect balance of sweetness and flavor. Highly recommend!
First off, I definitely loved the aesthetic. It was super cute! There aren’t much seating options, so keep that in mind. It was quite busy on a Monday afternoon at 3:30. My cappuccino was just all right, so that was a bit of a bummer (hence the 4 stars). The milk was steamed on the foamy side. I would probably try something else next time, since the specialty drink menu looked very fun! It seemed like the barista wasn’t too happy to be serving us, which was also a bit unfortunate. But I still had a good time nonetheless. Parking is definitely a challenge, so be prepared to walk 10 minutes away if you want free street parking or you’ll be paying!
Friendly staff, good drink, and a wonderful atmosphere. Would highly recommend for anyone who likes their coffee shop in a book store
Bellwood Coffee is making waves as the hottest new spot in town! The space is sleek, vibrant, and confident. I tried the S’mores latte, and it’s totally the standout—rich, perfectly balanced, and a must-try. The apple danish is fresh, crisp, and thoughtfully crafted. Service is quick and competent. The place is gaining momentum, and it shows.
Awesome new Bellwood location inside the bookstore! The coffee and service is always amazing and the empanadas are a great add to the pastries!
