Crema's Take
“This Pittsburgh gem feels like stepping into a genuine neighborhood hangout where the owners actually care about every detail, from the spotless counter to the handwritten whiteboard menu. Their espresso-focused drinks are executed with real skill and speed, whether you're grabbing a quick matcha latte or settling in with a pumpkin cold brew, and the kitchen surprises with thoughtful touches like fresh tomatoes on avocado toast and beautifully plated crepes. It's the kind of cozy, inviting spot where the chef will personally deliver your bagel and the staff remembers why they love hospitality.”

Atmosphere is very nice and inviting. It's very much a mom and pop shop experience. It is extremely clean. White board menus. Adorable little shop. Will be back!
I stopped by for a matcha latte and had a great experience. The staff member was friendly, professional, and very fast. The place is clean, cozy, and welcoming. Definitely a nice spot to enjoy a drink.
Very good food and drinks! I got an avocado toast - on a bagel. It was delicious! It came with a tomato on top which made it way better and good! I also got an iced chai which was so refreshing and yummy. I love Cafe Americano!!
Food was sooo delicious! I got an iced chai which was very good and well made. I got a delicious strawberry Nutella crepe as well. It was neatly plated and so yummy!
Cafe Americano was recommended by one of my friends. I had the NY style bagel without tomato and the pumpkin cold brew. The chef brought my sandwich personally out to my table which was so nice! It was different from a usual breakfast sandwich because they used hard boiled egg and chopped bacon. The everything bagel was *perfectly* toasted. Coffee was good too! Great flavor, not too sweet, you add your own creamer. They did have a lengthy coffee menu though I don’t think they had cold foam which is fine. This cafe was located in a mini mall in Mt Lebo which was kinda nice because there was so much parking! The cafe itself was not overcrowded, plenty of places to sit but also people coming in and out. Not necessarily an Instagram-environment but it was a nice change from all the super trendy (and very pricey) places!
