The Daily Bird

We popped in on a Saturday morning and it was consistently busy, and yet the counter staff still took a few moments to acknowledge and speak with my 5-year-old son while we ordered. Throughout our visit we received very welcoming service. Watching interactions the staff had with other customers made it clear that this is a very important spot to the neighborhood; the customers are cherished. The breakfast sandwich with the sausage hoooomama. They must smash the sausage on a griddle so the outside edges get so nice and crispy. The art, progressive values, and community-mindedness made this a special spot to be. Thanks for being here and we appreciate you

They love coffee almost asmuch as they love people, and the color yellow. Super friendly community oriented atmosphere, with the lowest prices. They even had an indoor rummage sale. Kid friendly, but not a playground. lol

Fantastic place to be. People all greeted each other. I overheard gossip. The vibe was downright neighborly and I loved it! A little gritty but as warm and friendly as the bright walls The coffee was a probably a B or B+ but the standout was the life of the shop. It felt shaped by the character of the community and the people around it. It was a very human-centered place, almost like the setting of a sitcom The staff were friendly and chatty in all the best ways. There was no hustle which made going to this shop a very special experience

I had an amazing experience for my first visit at The Daily Bird! I love this community-driven café and the entire neighborhood shows up here, even if it's for a brief moment of exciting conversations or for a quick bite. This place brings all the people together from Riverwest under one roof, and it's an exciting experience! The Daily Bird offers simple coffee drinks with a light breakfast fare but holds a massive stake in the community it serves! That is, this café is very supportive of the neighborhood and events, offering a safe place to meet and converse, and the outdoor patio has amazing views of the neighborhood with many locals walking by or stopping inside! You are guaranteed a nice, relaxing start to your morning routine!

Finally a friendly coffeeshop dedicated to it's community. Everyone feels like a part of an extended family, the coffee is excellent and there was fresh banana bread for breakfast when I came. The vibes are immaculate, the people are nice and the patrons friendly and kind. I love everything about it here.
