Full of Beans Cafe
184 S 2nd St, Milwaukee, WI
Crema's Take
“This Milwaukee gem feels like a cozy retreat with genuine "peaceful home vibes," thanks to shelves lined with games and books, attentive staff, and a refreshing absence of blaring music. Their espresso-focused coffee hits with real strength and quality—think bold black cups and nuanced white mochas that justify the quiet reverence regulars show the place. It's the kind of small, quaint mom-and-pop spot where you can actually settle in to work, read, or just be, with solid pastries and light food to keep you grounded.”

Very nice and "peaceful home vibes" not blasting music, a great spot to read, work enjoy in peace. With delicious strong and quality coffee. come see for yourself!
The wife asked to get some coffee and a lunch so we headed of to full of beans. This cute little space was occupied by 2 shop keeps.there was games and books on the shelves. Plenty of space to sit and eat with lots of art to look at. I decided to get a latte and a turkey sandwich. Wife got a waffle . Very crispy and good All and all a good experience.
I went mid morning, so it was quiet. The staff was friendly. The place is small but quaint. I had a black cup of coffee, very good, and a banana chocolate chip muffin. The worker did not heat up the muffin but it was STILL WARM so it was FRESH from that morning. It was delicious. I can’t wait to go back!
Such a cute mom/pop cafe! quirky decor and a seems like a good place to study or work. There is a small parking lot next to the building. I enjoyed the white mocha coffee as it was sweet. I did not care for the bagel sandwich. It was plain and underwhelming imo. If I lived in the area I would still come here for the coffee and outlets. Idk if the baked goods are tasty but they looked good.
First time visiting and was happy the place was bigger than what I anticipated. Got a small Ice Vanilla Latte and a ham & cheese sandwich. The latte was bit stronger than what I’m used to but still good to drink. My sandwich was made fresh and nicely toasted. I thought it was sweet the owner even bought my food to the table I was sitting at. I was a little sad I misread the menu online and was hoping to order dumpling soup but I guess they do soup of the day type of deal. Overall, a cute café and I’ll definitely be back on a weekend to try out their waffle specials.
